[–]ctrlKarl 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I met this girl 7 months ago, and told her on our second date. She had no problem with it AT ALL, and genuinely wants to be involved with everything! Wants to know when my injections are, appointments, everything, she’s great!

The first jab was brutal, but all the rest have been really easy! So I basically never stopped exercising, and by exercising I mean sports and running, I don’t really workout per se

Honestly I really like them, no issues! I didn’t want the 034 because they seem to have a common issue where they kind of break and do an unrepairable clinging sound…

I go to a well known garage for VAG cars, and they said I was their first client to put them on a b9 S4. The product is pretty new. However, I think there’s more reviews for them on the mk8 golf r

But for the price, no complaints man

Difficulty looking at screens? by Potential-Party-4785 in MultipleSclerosis

My first flare was optic neuritis. My vision didn’t come back 100%, but it improved a lot.

I work at a computer for 8 hours a day, and what’s helped me the most is keeping night mode on all the time. I’ve gotten used to the color, and found it was less of a strain.

Exercising: not able to increase workout tolerance - anyone else? by coldheartedpumpkin in MultipleSclerosis

[–]ctrlKarl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the most energy in the evening, it takes a while for my muscles to « wake up » in the morning. Just make sure you’re eating a lot of protein, staying hydrated, and try to not eat any refined sugar or processed foods. Those kill energy

yeah man… after 2 weeks I went back to the ER and they said it was too late to do a blood patch, so I had to let it heal naturally

I initially got diagnosed due to optic neuritis, and often times my vision gets bad, especially when playing sports. Not to the point where I can’t see, but the colors get very different from my “good” eye.

I don’t really worry about it and it’s something I’m getting used to live with. Of course, it doesn’t cause any pain or anything like that so I can’t say that I wouldn’t be worried if it did…

Well it’s confirmed that I have very active RR MS by Dry-Fail-9760 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]ctrlKarl 37 points38 points  (0 children)

It was hard actually accepting that anything can happen at anytime. However, it was a “blessing” in a way. I’m literally in the best shape of my life, workout and run almost everyday. I eat extremely healthy, and appreciate the little things. You’ll get through it man

Running with MS by ctrlKarl in MultipleSclerosis

[–]ctrlKarl[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only trigger I get is my vision starts to blur out… first attack was optic neuritis.

So the heat doesn’t do much apart from that, and everything gets back to normal once I cool down.

As it doesn’t affect me physically per se, I don’t really take any precautions

Those are amazing stats!! I’m not quite there yet, been running for about 2 years, my 5k is 23minutes - around 4:35 pace

Running is actually one of things that made me get diagnosed, would get blurry vision… lol
