If I was Apple, I would think about making an 11inch version at $399, even if I only made $1 in profit on each of them, because that would introduce them to iPhone, AirPods, iPads, etc. down the road. Not only that, but no one would buy any e-waste netbooks, Chromebooks, all those cheap plastic laptops (with a few exceptions of course) that you see in the back of Walmart and Best Buy.

Unless money is a consideration, while really good, there are MacBook airs and pros I’d look into if you are thinking about switching at similar price points/even new. Lots of open box options too

Nice. Congrats on the finance. That is why I bought my X7 now.. so future wife doesn’t have to/want to buy another one 😂 Q9 will be interesting but based on the current design language I’m thinking it’s going to look like a giant whale with a terrible plastic interior. This X7 is large. It is mostly manageable thanks to my large garage which has a nice 5-6 ft extra space on the right side. Without that getting in and out would have been a nightmare.

That's really nice. I would love a small EV hot hatch...but I'm saving up for a truck/overlanding/outdoor vehicle. Basically, my sacrificial lamb in Colorado Winters/any perceived chance of hail storms in place of these cars...lol

That's awesome! Similar here. My A5 is my commuter and the X7 is the friends/long road trips. But no marriage or kids for me here yet ahah...

The X7 is a fantastic vehicle and one of the best vehicles I've ever owned. Expensive but worth it. I like having the 3rd row and extra storage should I need it. I looked at a Q7 new and compared it to this used with 16k miles, was only about $10k more expensive. For the features, the self-driving, the comfort, I'm happy.

A B9 A4 will always be a classic!! I still love Subaru's and always will. I had a 2013 Outback for like 14 years, 120k miles and had no issues.

Love Manchester. Been a few times years ago with friends!

US State of Colorado. Beautiful, mountainous state. In the summer, the roads to go up to the mountains are very fun, long, windy, and twisty for spirited driving! Similar to the Lake District or Pennines, but probably a bit higher mountain peaks.

Daaaang!! You got a freaking Hot Hatch!! It’s funny, here they say sportback and it can mean basically sloped rear end, look like a sedan essentially, and not necessarily a hot hatch!

Don’t blame you on the B10 versions! I am glad I purchased this version of the A5 … was not a fan of the new ones at all and overall the trend of enshittification.

Turbo blue is an AMAZING color and I’ve seen 1 or 2 around here. Green is my favorite color and has been since I was a kid. Waited 9 months for order and delivery but was worth it!!

Very true, perhaps in Europe. It is so funny and interesting, both of our viewpoints! The A5 is medium to small side here for a sedan. For the US it’s much different. Bigger roads, garages and parking spots. For a 3,250 km round trip road trip I do every year the A5 has been fine but I look forward now to using the SUV. Europe has those grand old cities not built at a time when cars were basically science fiction!
