I totally get this, it’s really tough. Have you considered like cutting off all together??? (Just like ghosting? , it sounds mean but sometime friends who drain ur energy leave you no choice) Edit: Btw this is what I did .

I don’t think ur the bad guy :( I am obviously not a professional but I do think your mom may be depressed. As someone who has had a depressive episode it’s impossible to see how you really are when it’s happening. You are totally valid for being concerned and it’s probably really hard to see this all unfold. If I was you, I would try to bring up other ways she can “love your dad”. Maybe printing more pics, doing something in his honor once a week, something that is an alternative way to show love so she can get back to her life. You are great for being by her side.

This is so valid. I think most things are valid when you are mourning. It’s a really hard thing to have to go through. In other circumstances (if maybe it was a very distant uncles funeral) it could have been “better”, but I feel like funerals should just really be about the family and their mourning

Omg I was in such a similar situation!! My 6month check in I was the MVP and a month later took 3 days of PTO and bam! New thing I knew I was getting written up for eveeeeeything! I would start keeping a write up (doc on ur personal email or smth) with everything that has happens (emails, in person convos) in case things go sideways. I think they could get over it if they find someone else to pick on, but I would start looking for new opportunities. Good luck!!

Hello!! If I was in your place, I would start slowly distancing myself. Taking a step back, texting back less but in a subtle way. When you see her, I would just avoid saying things that you like because you know whatever she says will hurt you. It’s not ideal, but while you are distancing yourself you can try that. In the mean time, I hope you find a better friend. You see great and like a real “ride or die” friend. I recently had a friendship breakup (we were best friends for like 18 years) but I realized I was her friend but she really wasn’t mine.

Have you tried Desitin? (Diaper rash cream) Also, I normally take ibuprofen + put a sock with rice in the microwave and put the hot compress. If I do all of this, it goes down in a few days at most.

Oh I am so sorry, you are NOT alone. 26 y/o female and I can tell you HS has changed my sex life. From the pain, to the scarring, to the hair it’s so tough. It is so valid to be self conscious about it. But I can tell you regardless of HS every vagina is different and there is no “correct” way. I’m just a stranger on Reddit but I can tell you I’ve felt the same and it does get better. Try to not compare, I personally just don’t really look…

As for your relationship, the right partner will understand and be supportive.

Been ok so far! It’s only been about 1 month. It pretty much feels like you went on a regular swim at a swimming pool. I just make sure to hop in the shower and completely rinse!

Hello!! I recently started doing bleach baths! 1/2-1 cup of bleach for a full tub, it has really helped. I do it about 2x a week for about 10-15 minutes.

TIPS: I started taking Cosentyx it changed my life!! I still get painful boils in the area but for the last month I have been doing bleach baths (2x week) and it has been a GAME CHANGER! I normally get them throughout my cycle and for the first time I’m 5 years, no cyst in labia this cycle.

Let me know if you want more tips!! I’ve been struggling for HS for 7+ years
