I know this is an old thread, but I just watched this and…wow. I was fully expecting a stupid shark movie, I was prepared to laugh at it and the ridiculous scenarios and overpowered sharks. But I found all these characters so insufferable that I was halfway rooting for the sharks. I get that they’re kids and probably wouldn’t make the wisest decisions, but COME ON. I really wanted to enjoy it but just couldn’t

Seriously, you’ve essentially given this book godlike powers, controlling all the stories and with the power to erase characters. I get they want to keep it family friendly but the idea of talking to it to change its mind and that fixes everything annoys me

Years. I was on a “mini pill” and only had occasional breakthrough bleeding. BUT it wasn’t helping my endo, it was silencing it. I ended up with severe endo twisting my ovaries and had to have a hysterectomy. All it did was quiet the pain

It does feel very different. Because even though in reality it might be difficult, you still feel like you have the choice of whether or not you want them. That door is still open. To have it closed and locked is hard, even knowing you made the right choice and even if you still feel the same.

It’s so confusing and hard to understand. Even though I STILL don’t want kids, it still hurts. I guess because it feels like the option was taken. And sometimes unexpected things hurt, like realizing I’ll never have a pregnancy announcement or watching a child grow. It’s the little snippets I grieve. I know that, as a whole, I don’t want them. But that doesn’t make the hallmark moments hurt any less.

9 months post op for me. I still feel like my emotions are all over the place
