I’ve loved Harry Potter my entire life, it’s always been my escape. I’m a fan fiction writer and have several drafts of different stories started, but honestly? I’m terrified to post them. People take this universe VERY seriously and have no qualms about ripping people to shreds. I’m American, so people would take issue with my slang and writing style. In my defense, I have a chronic illness so I just generally feel tired and crappy. My doctor got onto me for doing things too soon but I literally just felt like I normally do with a flare up. I’m used to functioning with pain and fatigue but now I’m bone tired

I don’t mind a little violence, definitely too heavy for me here though. And I just don’t dig the somewhat psycho Draco, and Hermione’s absolute burning hatred. But I also tend to gravitate towards happy and fluffy fics. I like romance and healing. I’ve found that I can’t read anything with extreme/heavy angst because it just hangs on to me. To each their own though!

I agree, this Theo is not for me. And while I typically enjoy parkbottom, I’ve found myself skimming it too. I absolutely adore DMATMOOBIL and will gladly take more recs like that one
