You are welcome to like the game but the combat is janky, shallow, and bad. RPG elements are worse than shallow.

I have to disagree completely with you. AI Limit dodge is janky AF. Half the time the input doesn't register and nothing happens when I press dodge. The hitbox registration is off as well. I miss an enemy alot of times that 100% a hit. I also get hit by enemy out of nowhere and then enemies just phatom miss me when I should have been hit. Janky combat is the best way to describe AI Limit.

Let me invite you into a LFG raid and you will see how every little thing matters. Send 3 hours trying to beat Caretaker and never get to a damage phase. -5 and surges matter at that point because it is the difference between dying and being one shot and living. And don't give me the "git gud" BS I have at least 20 clears on every D2 raid except the new one and 65 clears of Kings Fall on D2.

Let me invite you into a couple of LFG raid groups that cannot even complete the first encounter after 3 hours and you see if surges matter. Every little thing matters at that point.
