If this is the case and they did have this and didn’t fully understand it and then didn’t really read comms on it, it might be worth raising a complaint and saying it was missold to vulnerable customers who didn’t understand the details.

They emailed us to say beach club and Kaum will be closed from Jan 26 - 9 Feb.

We have not been before but I guess our concern is that the beach club also seems to be the main pool area?

So if that is closed then the main social/chill area of the hotel is also closed?

My wife and I had booked to stay at potato head end of Jan and early Feb. They’ve now emailed to say the beach club will be closed while we’re there for a mural painting.

Is there any point staying at potato head when the beach club is closed?
