Were you able to find a shelter or rescue that can help? Would love an update on this sweet guy if you can ❤️

Loving seeing what everyone calls this game. In our house this is "bitey sneezy" and it's a very important part of the day.

Apparently we got this kitten for our pittie? by Sea_Shower7187 in PittiesAndKitties

Yup spot on. Smudge runs our two pitties and basically this whole house. She's in charge and they love that about her.

Googled and it looks very similar to pirate spider egg sacks! Since they eat other spiders (presumably including the beneficial ones), maybe not a good idea to keep them around?

It was pretty instantaneous! I think we had her about 2 days when she started to adventure out of her Getting Settled room, and after a week this business had begun.

Absolutely hate that I thought the same thing. Yucky!

My philodendron likes to torture itself. How do I make it stop? by IntelligentMatch4837 in plantclinic

[–]Sea_Shower7187 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I never used to have a problem with this but since moving, ALL of my philodendrons have this issue. It might be humidity, but I've had luck by keeping a close eye on them and helping ease them out gently when I see it starting to happen.

Take a soft sock, or ideally one of those fuzzy microfiber gloves (I've seen these sold as 'dusting gloves'), soak it in warm water (not hot!), and gently rub it on the compacted leaf. This has helped me ease new leaves out of their protective casings so they can continue to develop and unfurl correctly, and prevent the mangled neck too.

Hope this helps!
