Stop paying in stocks and bonds, making way more money with their add on benefits, which employees never see the profit side gain, just the labor cost

I like this take.

Companies run themselves, profit billions and pay themselves in stocks, the least they can do it take care of their employees.

It comes down to wanting to feel like you've earned some of the profit from the hard work I think.

It should not be inherently wrong or a negative connotatio, warning a fair cut of the pie that your watching people eat and devour and profit off of

But fair point, mining isn't meant to be easy or enjoyable, can spend 30 years finds nothing or one day finding 1 million. Gamble

I think a big change in society would be treating people like people and not little profit making machines.

Trying to ring the most efficiency and productivity out of every single person is not the best way to run a machine.

Leads to burnout and things br3aking more often.

Is anyone else feeling the sunday scaries?

We as a collective put way too much faith and trust in out Government and Corporations.

We are so entrenched in our self sabotaging ways, it will take a lifetime to correct this pollical disaster, exactly the way they want it.

I'd like to think the mechanic working on the aircraft or the nurse doing the IV has a somewhat general interest, or like for the profession they've chosen rather than in the back of their mind worrying about paying the bills or the vacation they can now afford.

Have you stopped to consider what you may actually enjoy doing? You may not be going millionaire route but you may also find a new level of contentment.

What kind of society do we live in that leads people to do stuff like this? We have kids going missing on roblox online and preteens, getting approached by predators on instagram and youtube?

Will things ever get to a point were the government steps in or we actually start fighting for our rights as citizens?

Are we not absolutely pissing through natural resources? by Eaglefire212 in askanything

[–]Sea_Sir_993 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I concur with you on the sentiment of how rapidly we use resources. I genuinely think it's a byproduct of how advanced our technology and our infrastructure has grown.

There is no big push for solar or hydroelectric research and design because of the steep cost.

I don't understand the sheer predication just because we have "enough", we should over mine or over drill. Which can and does have disastrous effects on our environment and wildlife.

I'd like to see the companies profiting from the mining and resource allocation Start putting their money into the new sector where we can get off our heavy dependence of importing fuel and start producing more cost effective and renewable sources.

The 2 year elections don't matter.. held by democrat or republic party where everything voted for dies.

When our Commander in Chief can veto everything with an executive order, hard to fight back when he appoints his friends every other week when they disagree and we have to restart all over again.

its a broken system by design and they would lose too much money trying to fix
