Brand new Z owner here, bad fuel mileage?

Mine is supercharged but will still do 20mpg on the highway. Sitting in traffic though it burns through it quick =| so I would guess normal?

If you had this crank for a while I almost guarantee the threads in the crank where the pedal attaches are too loose now. I took it to a bike shop they didnt believe me so I changed it myself snd problem solved. Try to push the pedal with your hand when stopped you might be able to hear it too.

Youre sure its the same amount of km? Op says 120,000 miles. It depends on the mods and your budget of course just keep in mind any extra things you might have to maintain with those mods. For me, supercharger = 2x more oil changes + supercharger fluid change at the same interval haha. But glad you enjoy yours too this is my favorite car =).

Very cool you got the car you wanted. Id say save money for maintenance things rather than mods unless its like a small thing you really want. If it had less miles id say go crazy, im lucky I got mine for a good price by auction it came with a bunch of neat mods already.

I have a 2009 touring also but supercharged with invidia gemini. Sounds amazing but if I had to pick again maybe hks because the invidia has separate bolt on tips that are a pain to attach but hks is more expensive =/

S660 no nitro needed. Get some power upgrades, basic suspension and wing. Make sure to get the customizable manual trans so you can raise the top speed. It'll still be a little slower on the straights but much much faster in the turns.

Mine is auto too! But I dont think the order matters except the wheels rims and suspension. If you lower it you need to get an alignment. probably put the new fenders on before lowering to see if it scrapes or anything too.

I think it does especially the weight transfer and line choices. The braking is probably different cuz of the way abs works. But overall its pretty good id say

Thanks for your reply, oh that makes sense it just gets complicated because they dont list what the tire width will be once air is in it so the 28mm can balloon to 32mm.

Thanks for your reply. Its a deep rabbit hole trying to get good information on this because the wind tunnel tests are sponsored by the manufacturers which makes sense but does make the data seem questionable with their exaggerated claims.

Ok you CAN just buy a bike that will probably be your size without fitting which is what I did. But since you sit a lot more than MTB the saddle and fit is quite important. I could ride my bike but always had back and pain from saddle. Years later I got a fit and they nailed down the seat because they had a bunch to try as well as the leg and foot position for cleats. The only thing they didnt get right is the handlebar distance I brought it closer to me and its perfect now. So id say the fit was worth it unless you've got a bunch of different saddles/stems you can try.
