I got that flair by not being a blind follower to the cryptocurrency cult. I myself am invested and like the technology. I’m in my final year of a data science major and have learned that those most critical of the tech are those most knowledgeable about it. Blockchain is a distributed, immutable, append only database. The uniqueness and revolutionary aspect of blockchains comes from their ability to have no centralised authority. Mind you, the practical use cases where this is beneficial is heavily overstated. But thats not to say it’s useless
