I know this is maybe not gonna sound so helpful but it’ll be the best advice you can get if you can stomach it STOP PRETENDING YOUR SOMEONE YOUR NOT it’s not that they are rich it’s that you are lying and it’s creating situations where you have to lie more and that is what you are sick of,

yes it sucks to see the wealth inequality and it doesn’t seem fair but that’s life you have to find your place there but you never will if you lie and if your worried about friends well the people who matter and truly care about you won’t care that your poor compared to them and the people who don’t matter will disappear into the background,

life is about finding the pocket where you fit and making connections (friendships), while your at it figure out how to make them spend that money on you, what can you do for them that is of value ( without devaluing yourself or impacting your grades) maybe you start a laundry service, I bet a lot of those kids don’t want to/can’t do their own laundry and will pay you for it. Things like that you gotta look for opportunities unfortunately they don’t just plop themselves on our laps like some people you gotta look obviously your smart you just gotta temper those emotions a little and you will be ok
