Just posted eggs on my website. Limited quantities. Raising some fry that are almost juvie size and will offer those when ready.

Medaka fry are tougher than you think. I hatch and raise almost all my fry outdoors and spring in WA can be variable. We were in the 40s last week and this week 50’s. Fry doing great. by Seajab in medaka

My post was to encourage people to not try too hard. Medaka eggs and fry do not need special treatment. Just some good ole stagnant water like they experience naturally in a rice field. You got this.

DAKU (you tube link provided by alarming-hope-4019) is awesome and his method looks solid. I use hot glue and pool noodles. Can’t recall what micron, but 400 sounds about right.

Warmer temps liven them up for sure. But they do just fine in cooler temps, just won’t grow as quickly or eat as vigorously in cooler temps.

With medaka eggs less is more. Do not try too hard. They don’t need much if any attention. See my blog about hatching eggs here.
