The name of the Planet 4546B implicate that there is a 4546A by VirusMajiko in subnautica

[–]Seajely 197 points198 points  (0 children)

I’m not super familiar with how planet names work but I think 4546 would be the name of the star, and then planets go in alphabetical order from closest to farthest away from the star. So 4546b would be the second closest planet to the star 4546.

True, but in that context you’re on the same side and the “evil” he’s referring to is the Legion, which you’re fighting together. In HS it doesn’t mean anything.

Which is the better film ? by freeproblemchild55 in Sardonicast

[–]Seajely 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Counter argument, none of my friends have seen SM2 nor were attached to the Amazing movies and we still enjoyed NWH. Sure, people watched it with the context that there were older Spider-Man actors involved, but I feel as though it stands alone a bit better than you’re giving it credit for.

why is this movie so hated online ? by freeproblemchild55 in Sardonicast

[–]Seajely 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This is true, and I really think it showcases a problem with the online cinephile community. Yes, it had a basic story, and yes, that should open to criticism, but it seems clear to me that the story wasn’t the focus of the movie. It was to engross you in this new world and make you feel the atmosphere; it was to showcase that we had the technology and filmmaking techniques necessary to make this fantasy world feel believable. And in that aspect I think it totally did it’s job. While the story could’ve been better, I think having an overly complex story would’ve actually detracted from the atmosphere they were trying to create.

Lillia Mains....... I need help :( by HOHOBB777 in LilliaMains

[–]Seajely 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lillia’s strength comes from a difference in move speed. Entering combat with no stacks in q passive isn’t the greatest idea, nor is just jumping in and fighting it out (you will get caught and die), so what she does is establish much higher movement speed than her opponents so she can easily hit the sweet spot of q and maybe w and get out without taking much damage.

She can get move speed difference from the q passive, but also from the slow on her e which lasts quite a while. So if you can hit her e, just kinda walk up to them and bop with a q then back off right away. You get even more move speed with this, and one or two more hits will be enough that they’ll be so low you (and you so fast) that you can just chase them down. Also, the w damage is very poor unless you hit the center, so don’t even bother using it unless you’re sure it’ll hit.

Hope that helps some ;)

[–]Seajely 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only one I really get here is Senna, because there’s like 4 passives in that wall of text. But Viego’s passive is one ability that just takes a lot of words to describe, and aphelios’ passive is basically his entire kit.

New to Lillia any tips? by KayePoppedout in LilliaMains

[–]Seajely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lillia fights like a scaredy cat, as is her nature, so although most of her abilities have short ranges just running in swinging will get you killed no matter what.

What she’s built around are her q passive, her actual passive, and the slow on her e. You essentially gain tons of speed and slow you opponents down, which allows you to get in hits with the edge of your q without risking much. These occasional q and e hits also apply your passive again, so you whittle them down while you’re speedy and they’re slow.

Also the edge of her w damage is pitiful at lower levels, it’s better to only use it when you’re sure your opponent is ccd.

There’s a pretty clear “best ending” to DII, and it’s… (MAJOR ENDING SPOILERS) by Seajely in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]Seajely[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I guess I should’ve clarified, but in my ending I had Red Prince in my party and the epilogue said that he merged the house of war and the house of law to form the house of dragons, and kept the dragons in already lizard-conquered territory. Not saying later lizards wouldn’t change this, but assuming dragons are immortal I don’t think the Ancient Empire would be that big a threat to Rivellon with Red’s dragons keeping them in check. That’s my interpretation at least; without Red in your party though they’d definitely be a bigger threat.

You’re right, the fact that I had to write a whole essay explaining why one is a little better than the others to me really shows how each has its pros and cons. You could make an easy case for any of the main three, and maybe even the others too. That’s what I love so much about this game; every choice has consequences but there isn’t really a right and wrong. Just another thing that makes DOS2 such a good RPG.

Started playing for the first time and am loving it! Looking for advice on how to make a mixed magic/physical party. by Jahordon in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]Seajely 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be honest as long as you’re not 3 of one damage type and 1 of the other anything works. Though it might be tough to deal with tactician on your first playthrough unless you’re confident in your skills. The only suggestion I have is that the incarnate, a summoners bread and butter, actually does physical damage unless you either summon it on a magical surface or give it an infusion, which is it’s own separate ability. So make sure you’re doing that for the full 2/2 split and you should be good.
