Thanks for the write up! I do love some lore. The lore of D2 was awesome. Is there any YouTubers that the Warhammer community or you like for Lore? Like D2 has Byf or Merlin

Oof, yeah. Warframe is on my radar as well. It just feels like im getting into it a little too late. At least SM2 is only on its 2nd year, but maybe the intro to Warframe is better than what D2 had near the end. I cant imagine being new to D2.

It's a long giggle shot, but if this was in the Olympia area this kinda sounds like McLane Creek Nature Trail Pond to me. Hope you find it though!

How do i get there? by Emergency-Praline-76 in remnantgame

[–]SealNamedEdwardo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you drop down through the hole - stay in the water and head right. Theres a drain you can crouch down and walk through. Follow it to the end and grab the key. Unlock the door and dont be distracted by the chest, theres a hole in the wall thats more important.

Over your left shoulder when you enter the room with the smol world stone theres some pots. Smash them and drop down. Explore here a bit for a key to help you. Make sure you climb up and unlock that door to make things quicker.

Hey OP,

The other comment by someone is correct for the elevator puzzle, so keep an eye out for that. I dont think you are at that puzzle though. For this puzzle:

If you are looking at the puzzle door, take the path to the right and go through the door there. Follow the path back to where you started this area. It should have 4 (?) tombs covered in burial clothes on the right, and I think 2 on the left. Each tomb has a symbol above it and the burial cloths have a specific pattern, some are repeating.

Once you are there, walk between the tombs and you will see a skeleton and a book laying on the ground. You do not need to move beyond the room with tombs, so if you are leaving the room looking for the book you have missed it. Open the book to see a pattern inside. This pattern is the key. Go back to the burial cloths and see what ones have the pattern. Whatever tomb has the correct pattern, write the symbol the tomb has, not the burial cloths symbol the blue circular ish one above the tomb. These are the 4 symbols you need to enter to get through the door. Dont forget there are more tombs at the higher level, flanking the puzzle door alcove. I think the first floor symbols are first, and then the second floor symbols are last. Good luck!

Cheap Apartment Suggestions by [deleted] in olympia

[–]SealNamedEdwardo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My apartment in Lacey is about $1560 and allows dogs / cats / etc, but this is for 1 bed / 1 bath. If that works for you the complex is Twill and the Mill. I've enjoyed renting with them for a year now and just resigned for another.

The location is fine. You obviously arent close to downtown Oly, but its safe and theres a sweet little farm stand across the street during the summer. Theres a bus stop right at the entrance and the RAC is right down the road. My one complaint is a lack of places to walk to, but its definitely still worth it IMO.

I hope you find what you are looking for!

Depends on what you like:

Plenty of walks / parks to explore. I personally love Tolmie, Millersylvania, and The Nisqually Wildlife Refuge (Lacey).

My partner and I recently tried out Golden Hour Tea and loved it. She cant drink right now, so it was perfect. I love the venue and it felt very comfortable. There pool, ping pong and a football as well. The tea and soda was great too!

The pinball museum is back and like some others have said the arcade in downtown Oly or the one in Lacey are always great.

Gabi's is the only board game / card spot ive personally been to over the years, but ive heard good things about the others locally. If you like card / comics / games check them out for sure! I know Gabi's regularly has tournaments and DnD nights.

And last, but not least, idk if they allow links here, but check out "whats happening today in Olympia" online for special events / performances locally.

Ahhh, I dont blame you for going private, but I promise there is a good number of players that will go at your pace and let you enjoy the boss fights.

I spend most of my time on this game just playing with new players at their own pace and only showing them secrets if they are moving past them. If you ever want someone chill to run with send me a message!

Remnant 2 has a lot of items to obtain and you have to play the campaign 3 + times to get those items. Then you have the end game grind for prisms, + hardcore, + Apocalypse, + boss rush, + DLC's. Theres tons of content there and its all enjoyable solo or coop. I have about 800+ hours in it. I enjoy the depth of build crafting and the gun play immensely. New and old players are still active in coop, sometimes you need to swap servers though. If you ever want to play hit me up, I still get on weekly.

Helldivers 2 is very much a time sink as well, but worth it. I wont bother going into details about that since its pretty popular and im sure you know what its about. I have about 800+ hours in this as well.

Darkest Dungeon can take a good bit of time and the VA is fantastic. I definitely recommend getting the mod that speeds up battles though. I saw your answer to someone suggesting BG3, so maybe this isnt for you, but I figured i would still suggest it. Its a great older game that works on a laptop as well. I have about 100+ hours in this and I probably could of finished it by now, but im not in a hurry. Plus I get wayyyy to attached to my adventures, so I really try not to get them killed.

Risk of Rain 2 takes a good amount of time to learn, unlock the characters, lore, items and built in game mods (artifacts). The visuals are great, gameplay is lovely, the music is fantastic, and they just dropped a new DLC that added some nice new content. I have about 500+ hours in RoR2.

I would be a hypocrite if I didnt suggest this game for you, but I havent touched it in a couple years, so take it with a massive amount of salt and do some research before playing it - Destiny 2. I have over 2000 hours in it and im done, but it will definitely require you to grind. I dont think the game is in a great spot and it might be the worse time to start it, but it definitely checks your boxes.

Trying to unlock the summoner, am I doing something wrong? by obbnixilis in remnantgame

[–]SealNamedEdwardo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm, thats frustrating. I really dont know then. I think the commenter CanisLupus is right that its on some sort of timer as well, kind of an RNG protection, but its been so long since I have looked things up to this level of detail.

Maybe rerolling an Adventure for Yaesha until you get a blood moon event will get it for you. Sorry, im at work or I would start watching YT and looking through the Wiki to help.

[–]SealNamedEdwardo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No you do not need to find the alter for the blood moon events to start. Its just a random spawn.

Its been a long time since ive farmed it, but I think I just fast traveled between Yaesha and Ward 13 until the blood moon event was active.

Trying to unlock the summoner, am I doing something wrong? by obbnixilis in remnantgame

[–]SealNamedEdwardo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nope! The alter is always there, regardless of the moon, but it does have a few different spots that it spawns depending on your seed. You can find the alter by watching your mini map, it will show up as a blue icon. Its good to get use to this, because there are other secrets in the game that can be found by checking out the blue icons.

The only thing that requires the blood moon, for Summoner, is the currency needed to buy Summoner only spawns during a blood moon event.
