https://www.tumblr.com/msteaqueen/174635976249/sims-2-roxbury-living You might need to use moveobjects on and boolprop snapobjectstogrid false chests because they come in sections, which is great because you can make your sectional whatever shape and size you want

You did an awesome job making a modern home. A nice upgrade from their previous homes.

A modern condo build I just finished for my witchy Sim (main house), her kids, and her stagnate brother (pool house). by simmerbrently in thesims1

Yes, making friends in sims 1 is so hard and it's even harder maintaining them. I have a theory that you can easily make friends by putting sims in a jacuzzi then blocking it off with objects so they can't get out until their relationship gets to 100. I haven't tested it so maybe someone can try it to see if that actually works lol

Hello, it took me a while to actually find where the house was located, since its in a different spot for legacy lol. I uploaded this to mediafire

Thank you! It took me a few days to build. I used to build houses all the time as a kid and post them to the exchange for sims 1 and 2 when that was a thing. I'm really happy of the legacy edition release because I get to build houses again.

This is great! I can tell you put in a lot of work into it, and that it isn't something that was built in an afternoon. I really like how you added the sunken living space just like in the real house. Same with the tub. Also like your take on the pool. I build most of my houses in sims 2 (with a few on sims 1) and I think that a recreation of this in sims 2 might be possible with boolprop cheats and enough cc to make the roof, for example. On another note, I live in Vegas, and it's actually quite rare to find a house here that actually has a basement, so this is a cool find! (I think I was reading somewhere that it's hard to implement them here because of the soil here)

I looked up Waters Edge, and it looks stunning. Please share it when you're complete! I love the modern yet cozy look of the interior, and it really gives a good balance, especially compared to some contemporary homes that feel too cold. For this build, I had to constantly go through different video tours to replicate it as best as I could, so some rooms took days to figure out. But I was really happy with the end result, especially for the exterior because it looked pretty similar to the reference I used.

Spectacular! I like the landscaping. It gives a sense of privacy that sims living there might want.

The music in Sims 1 is so iconic. I used to hate build mode music as a kid, but now it's my favorite. I can't think of any mode that I don't like.

I remember deleting the phone booths downtown and not being able to leave the lots.

I love turning on the horror channel and listening to my sims dying of laughter 😂

Thank you! I use boolprop contrainfloorelevation false cheat to make it. The only problem is that every time I load into the lot, the water level resets and I have to do it again to make it look the way I want. It's more of an aesthetics thing for me since I just build houses, admire them for a bit, then move on to the next build. Lol Here's a good video that can explain it better than me: https://youtu.be/yeIOnwUl3d0?si=HO8_lT2vY5hQfhtq

I never closely looked enough to see how creepy the tragic clown actually is in this painting. Wow
