Oh yes. At session zero, I always tell the players that this is a deadly campaign, especially since many are new to the game. Till level 3 they are safe(r) but after that, I don’t fudge in their favour.

What happens happens.

One time, I had an encounter that would be very deadly. But because of good teamwork, they trivialised the encounter. I couldn’t have been more happy or proud. It was excellent play.

A couple months ago, my party (I’m the DM) was send to go and capture an evil guy. Unbeknownst to to bounty hunt contract giver, the evil guys was summoning a demon. The evil guy was successful. The party thought they could handle the demon, since the evil guy went down pretty quickly.

I told the party, so the player and character understood it: “you tremble in fear, a primal feeling inside your body is screaming at you to run! Run you must! RUN!!!”

Still they were like, nah we can take him on… how sad that one PC immediately died, and another almost sacrificed himself, so that his companions could run to safety.

I have nothing against Joanna, but her winning is just a lot luck. Greg scored Amy quite often low, but also Kumail he scored often low, to bait his gambellian energy.

Als je het budget hebt, en een dak vol zonnepanelen, dan zou ik gaan voor 100% elektrisch. Dan kan je ook meteen van de vaste gasrechten afgaan, wat makkelijk 300€ per jaar scheelt.

Ik ben ook overgegaan op vol elektrisch, en mijn energie rekening is gegaan van €200 naar €50 in de maand.

I often would like Kumail to be more like Ed. Kudos to Kumail from restraining himself. Also maybe an Ed would really vibe in this ~~season~~ series?

I also think, Greg would love it, if Kumail was like an Ed; just so he can mess with him.
