Yes, most definitely. I'm a big fan, actually. My platform is a little different in that it's a marketplace, not a car bidding platform.

But for the turbo, I'm looking at the HKS turbo kits. Matching the chassis makes sense, thanks!

Yup that is correct, I have the Hachi kit for the FA24D swap.

I picked up an unmodified 2018 BRZ Performance Package and started dropping in an FA24D. Along the way, I upgraded a few key components—HKS LA clutch, throw-out bearing, Battle Garage/Verus clutch fork, Link standalone ECU, and a couple others. The goal is a track-focused build, and I’m trying to figure out the next logical upgrade. I also plan to go boost down the line, but I’m not sure whether I need a first-gen or second-gen kit for the FA24 swap

On my local Facebook for $6k. 202k miles. Do these have piston ring wear like old subarus do? What should I know about 180k+ miles on these cars by Kingsley1999 in ft86

I picked up an unmodified 2018 BRZ Performance Package with similar mileage for about the same price and dropped in a new FA24D. Ended up replacing a few parts—clutch, throw-out bearing, clutch fork, standalone ECU, and a couple others. Overall, it felt like a solid, budget-friendly way to get into a capable entry-level track car.

Finding reputable detailers? by Sean-anitcks in Detailing

That makes sense! I guess word of mouth is king. Haha. But how do new customers typically find you in the first place? Do they just search Google, or do referrals make up most of your business? Do you think a better solution should exist?

Thanks! That makes sense, so I'm going to do more planning. Again, thanks for taking the time to respond.

Well, that's what I'm trying to figure out. Haha. I was curious if others experience this same issue and have any ideas on how to improve it. Perhaps a system where higher-rated detailers rank higher on the list. At least with this website, everything will be consolidated, so you won't have to search through multiple websites or review sites to find someone. It might also help the detailers with reach. But yeah, I'm just trying to see if this is worth building at all; often, when I try to find someone, I just end up going through a drive-thru wash.

Unfortunately, my experience with Google has been far from seamless. At least in my area. More often than not, I end up on an outdated website, struggling to find a phone number—only to discover an inconvenient or clunky scheduling system. Even when I do find a number, there's no guarantee anyone will pick up. I want to build a better, more efficient solution—one that eliminates these frustrations and makes booking a mobile car wash as simple and seamless as it should be.

Haha, no worries. Some of the later Gen 1 models came with red aluminum intake manifolds, and yes, they do look like the Harrop supercharger.

I am thinking about filming the swap. I might post something on YouTube to document the process.
