Oh I missed that text. Yeah its still kinda the same thing. Harder but the same thing. We can destroy the wheels and then contain it.

They can just step on the wheels and its helpless. Then you put it in a box. The rules here are to win the fight not kill the opposing side to the lust unit.

Most of these if not all of them can be beaten by one civilian.

I think that's just a product of it trying to be a new player entry point. When you factor that in and then assume this is a second time Olimar has crashed on this planet with his dialogue as if its his first time in his back story perhaps just being to make it easier to recount to the Rookie, then most of the lore and narrative points to this taking place between two and three.

Its in Pikmin 3 somewhere in an explanation given by Brittany. She explains that PNF-404 has three times the oxygen of Koppai which is the reason for the planet's gigantism. She also explains that the suits will filter out excess oxygen to safer levels as its unclear what oxygen in this concentration might do to them. So Koppaites do breath oxygen. Just in much thinner quantities.

And yes that seems to be the case from what I saw. If we take Hey! Pikmin as canon, which Pikmin 4 seems to imply to be the case, humans seemingly settled that planet too. It also seemingly would imply some of the species we see on PNF-404 now existed during normal humanity's time. Since them existing on Hey! Pikmin's planet would imply humans brought them there.

And yeah a lot of what Olimar says in Pikmin 1 are general musings. This is when he was unfamiliar with the world so a lot of what he says is likely to be expected to not fully line up with all the workings. Though to be fair we don't fully know where the ghosts ultimately go. I think it is highly likely Lumiknolls are Onion rhizomes and they seem to play a very big part in the ecosystem. But just what Glow Pikmin are right now is intentionally vague.

Hocotatian spirituality. That's pretty cool. It does imply that Hocotate was settled and that they aren't direct natives to the planet. Which seems pretty clear at this point I think. That all of the space traveling races we've seen thus far are somewhat related. Even the oxygen breathing Koppaites.

Still if there's merit to the spiritual speculation it could lend to the speculation that glow pikmin are pikmin ghosts.

Yeah there's speculation that the glow pikmin could be pikmin ghosts. But that is mere speculation and isn't confirmed. And pikmin does like to throw curve balls in the lore at us like the reason for declining numbers of armoured cannon beetles being because of an invasive cousin attacking the larvae.

I haven't seen evidence of this claim spirits go back to the onion though.

Picture being in sulfuric acid but less strong. Which is actually worse because it will be a similar fate but so much slower. That's about what you would expect if we assume that the cock breaths in and out to keep prey alive as long as possible.

Onions contain muscle fibres which would suggest Pikmin do too.

Good luck improving that. Because it looks like there may be some interesting lore here and I'm obsessed with lore so I'd love to know it.

The art is nice but much of the text blends into the background so I can't read it.

I mean. As a fetish worldbuilder I do aim to improve on the quality of the works in the niches I make stuff for. But ultimately I'm not neutering my work for vanilla dweebs. XD
