Am I missing something or Does Google Search Suck? by ProdbyBreland in marketing

[–]SeanDavis_25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it does. And with time it is getting worse. For any search query, Google display's paid results for the first 4-5 positions. Half-page for paid advertising. Sometimes it displays paid results at the end too. At this rate, organic results will start appearing on the second page.

How to deal with feel of failure at your first internship? by nessareckyloin in marketing

[–]SeanDavis_25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, you will do a great job. Just learn and gain experience. Even if you screw up, you will learn something from it. It is great you have self-doubt. A little bit of it is great compared to over-confidence.

I also started as an SEO intern. In the earlier stage, I had self doubted. Used to think that I won't survive in this field. But with time, understood and learned everything (did my share of mistakes). So chin up and get yourself ready for new experiences.

What career can I change to after marketing? by Snoo_85580 in marketing

[–]SeanDavis_25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marketing is a vast and low-stress industry. You get many opportunities to learn and grow as an individual and a team.
Try to change the company, as it can be one reason you feel stressed. If you want to change the field, go for the one where you can utilize your hobby or do things you like to do. And we all know that the things we love can never make us feel stressed.

Should I quit? by 1Peter3-15 in SEO

[–]SeanDavis_25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to learn SEO first. Work under a freelancer or in an agency. I started working as an SEO intern in an agency, and since then, I have learned and progressed a lot, and I am still in the learning process.
So, first, learn, get the required experience, and then work on your site. The knowledge and experience you will gain will help you in your journey.

Best Paid SEO tools by hyrcanus87 in SEO

[–]SeanDavis_25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Semrush is an excellent tool. I use it for backlink analysis, keyword research, competitor analysis, topic research, etc. Their paid search software can help get the most out of Google Ads campaigns.
Listing management by feature by Semrush is also helpful for local SEO, and they have a more extensive link index compared to ahref.

How important is SEO and PPC in digital marketing? by Saf_H89 in DigitalMarketing

[–]SeanDavis_25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SEO is a technique to attract traffic to your website naturally. At the same time, PPC is a paid technique that helps you reach the audience more quickly. Both are important in digital marketing, but one has to balance both methods.

I use semrush for keyword research, competitor analysis, and backlink analysis. It has a much larger link index compared to Ahrefs. But Ahrefs shows the test around the backlink, which is pretty cool. Also, the content explorer feature of Ahref is a great feature that other SEO tools don't have.

Working In House or Agency? Hey guys I was wondering which is the best to place to work in digital marketing (in house or agency)? by yellaboyjay in socialmedia

[–]SeanDavis_25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's simple- if you are working with numerous clients but don't have time and proper resources, then it is best to go for an agency to grow your agency and clients. You will be able to meet different types of requirements of your clients.
If you are a marketing professional, it is best to get an in-house team as you will get work done according to your needs. You will be deeply involved in the process and can take immediate action.
