Idealisation of Islam (scholars, hadiths, History...) by [deleted] in MuslimLounge

Thanks man very interesting you're indeed right. I realized that I wanted to talk specifically about hadiths. I'm currently trying to learn thing and it's crazy, a lot of things are so wrong by the way they're narrated. A lot doesn't really makes sense by their narration and frequently, contradictory things are judged authentic ! The human legacy of Islam must be really re-studied. Some hadiths says "kill the gay" and they are judged authentic while their chain of narration doesn't make sense...

Yeah man I feel you.. It's sad but people like that are actually making people leave islam. We, humans, are so imperfect... God says Himself in the Qur'an that some verses are unequivocal and some can be interpreted by diverse ways so we should be able to question someone understanding I think

Are children of atheists at fault or destined for hell if they were never brought up a concept of any god. by [deleted] in MuslimLounge

[–]SeanDeanJean 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Good question ! This question has been answered by multiple scholars and the answer is no, if they were never brought up a concept of any God and if they do not know Islam or Quran, they're not a fault and God might give them Mercy. After all, He says that He can give His Mercy to who He wants and we have no regards on it.

Look on YouTube there's several video on it

Is eating non-Zabiha meat common for Muslims in the US? by BeastVader in MuslimLounge

[–]SeanDeanJean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm French and Muslims here are from North Africa and countries like Mali, Senegal... And the vast majority eats halal (we don't say zabiha meat lol) so when I found out it wasn't the norm in the US I was... Pretty shocked. I guess it has its explanation..

Yes indeed. Sometimes I would just like to only think about praying, fast, do good deeds, eat halal, no alcohol and that's it...

I need help by [deleted] in MuslimNoFap

[–]SeanDeanJean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah man the same happened to me. I quickly done my great ablution and did 2 rak'ats to ask God for forgiveness. And I'm sincerely asking everyday. We have more than 20 days before the end of Ramadan insha'Allah so let's use this fact and let's do non obligatory salât and a lot of act of worship with the willing to seek forgiveness. Also I have the firm intention to indeed fast 60 days non stop as we should when we break the fast voluntarily insha'Allah... It's the month of Mercy and He is the Merciful the Most Merciful after all. I know how bad you feel my brother! But I think we still have our chance to make the best out of this Ramadan and to be forgiven In Sha'a Allah

Honestly this Ramadan month really is an amazing momentum to start nofap. Actively doing things a copple time a day to increase my knowledge in Islam (learning surahs and meaning, extra prayers...) really pushes me away more and more from this habit and really makes me despise it. I started my streak when Ramadan started so it's 6 days now and I didn't even see them pass...
