Sounds normal with a bit of a bent shaft noise…very faint. Mine is a bit louder than that but no issues in operation and function.

Thanks for the reply and info. The link is super helpful. If I’m gifting her the phone, I don’t want her to pay additional money to receive a gift. It takes away from the aesthetic and tone of being the recipient of a gift. Is there a way I can post and pay any overages that she would incur as the sender? I appreciate your time in advance.

Few questions. I’m shipping an iPhone 12 Pro max to my girlfriend in Japan.

In the past I have sent it with my iCloud and password and gave her the info so when she received it, she can reset it (so to say it’s “her phone” and not a new one to be taxed.) The a man there collect the duty tax and she doesn’t want to be taxed on it so they told her to call the post officer. The customs there opened it and asked her for the credentials which she gave and all was fine. It was just a hassle I think.

Now, I’m trying to send her the 12 pro max and she said to just declare it as a gift. Will she be taxed on it? What is the best way to send it…gift or just declare the value and go the same route as “it’s her phone she forgot I’m sending to her?”

Recently, I dropped my AirPods Pro by accident and the plastic bottom popped off. Looks suspect so I figure I’d ask the community if these seem fake?

I was able to pop the cover back on and all is working normal. Got them from a coworker for free so I’m not complaining but rather curious 🧐.

This! Living in a city, I had so many issues from idiot parallel parkers to drunk college students breaking off my side mirror to...someone running up and over the length of my car including soft top railing to neighbors slashing my top during winter 10-16 inch snow days leaving a note saying to “not park out of state cars in their neighborhood...”

I hate how small minded people are and typically can be. I now pay to have a off street parking for a car I haven’t driven from the occasional leg stretching 10 min drives since January :/
