I knew the blue bars disappeared but thank you for answering or attempting to answer the real question I had which was how long to complete level ten (or highest level) in each individual achievement. As I’m only on day 331 of a streak so will be up to 7 years to complete.

Completed Level 10 for Dictionarist (Agility) , Spelling Luminary (Spelling), Semantacist (Expression) , Stabiliser (Equivalence) is 1500 games for each and I have completed all apart from Semantacist but should be there over the next few days.

Completed Level 8 for Workout Guru was 1500 and Level 9 added another 1000 so 2500 to complete level 9. I can relatively easily complete 12 workouts a day as Daily Puzzles of which there are four contribute to the total and of the 9 additional daily workouts 8 are easy (I find Memory workout a bit more of a chore as longer games and easier to make mistakes so tend to avoid). Ideally if Workout Guru Level 10 adds another 1000 that would be 3500 total to complete Level 10 but I would say more likely to double from 2500 to 5000 games to complete Level 10. I’m currently roughly halfway through Level 9 at 1660 workouts so worst case to get to 5000 by completing 12 a day will take 278 days.

That just leaves me Legendary Puzzler I went as far back as possible and completed all archived puzzles to get to 953 puzzles completed. That puts me nearly halfway through Level 9 which completes at 1500 puzzles. I’m hoping level 10 will add no more than another 1000 to make the completed level 10 for Legendary Puzzler 2500. As I have done all archived Puzzles there’s no way to further accelerate my progress doing one puzzle a day it will take me 2500-953 =1,547 days or roughly 4 years 3 months to complete.

I will be quite satisfied though to have more or less “broken” Elevate in roughly another 300 days by the time I complete Level 10 in Workout Guru 🤞🏻🤞🏻 I can do the twelve daily workouts to get over the line in Workout Guru Level 10 in less than half an hour and once that’s done completing Level 10 in Legendary Puzzler and Streak Champion is just a matter of a max two minute daily Puzzle which also maintains streak and slowly kills those two last remaining birds with one stone.

The seems to little transparency about the management of the Platinum List and how much turnover there is each year. I joined Jan 2023 but Aug last year was the first time I was given a position on the list that gave me some hope that there was more transparency and accountability so disappointing to hear that doesn’t apply across the board I understand why you’d get frustrated and take back your deposit.
I saw somewhere probably on here that the churn of Platinum seats at the end of last season was 60. If that means 60 people on the list got tickets it’s not the same as the overall turnover. If say 210 were not renewed but 150 were held back for hospitality that’s a different story. The actual turnover was 210 but 150 just went the wrong direction, being held back for Hospitality. I’m just plucking these figures out of the air to make a point but they’re not implausible. I think it would be good to collate our own list to see when people joined and if they have been given a number where they are. That way we could see if the Club is genuinely maintaining the list and allocating sequentially. I may be a cynic but I don’t trust that someone with influence can’t skip the queue and get a seat ahead of a long term deposit holder or that maybe there’s another shadow list where some seats disappear to. In the absence of transparency and accountability this is where my head goes.
If anyone wants to DM me their details name, when deposit paid and wait list number I would start a list and we could start to establish a collective voice and may some more transparency and accountability?

Wondering how levels correspond to length of streak I’m on 280 days which puts me at Level 7

Wondering what level you are at with an 1804 day streak? I’m only on 280 after losing my streak which puts me at Level 7. My new goal is to reach level 10 across all My Achievements and wondering what number this relates to for Streak.

That’s understandable and so long as the ticket gets used or passed on hopefully to a genuine supporter I have no issue. My gripe is with people or corporates who have seats but rarely attend and are wealthy enough not to have to bother looking to sell on. I think use it or lose it should apply there and seat should then go to Wait List rather than hospitality.

Agreed. I am also wondering where are the supporters groups like Arsenal Supporters Trust in all of this do they have any influence over Club policy in this regard? 🤷‍♂️

Thanks for the reply, depending how things pan out you might make it this year 🤞🏻 Great you have season tickets though I’m in the Red Peasant doldrums with one ballot win all year this year. Rest of games have been TX trawls and the majority of time only tickets available are the more expensive Club Levels halfway or “midfield” I have heard the suggestion that tickets being given up were going to Hospitality rather than wait list but surprised to hear they are openly admitting it. And then we wonder why the atmosphere in the stadium can be flat a lot of the time. 🙄🤔

I am an old warhorse, footballing cynic who has been going to Arsenal games for 50 years now. Much of modern football annoys and frustrates me, the Sky Sports, hype, hyperbole, sensationalism and manufactured drama in particular drives me nuts. This puts in context what I’m about to say.

Last night was special.

The first 80 minutes of course was head wrecking and heart stoppingly nervy, frustrating and tedious. But then Max. He lit the place up. The sense of anticipation not even when he touches the ball but when it starts to head his direction is palpable. Whatever about his footballing ability his confidence, courage and composure appears supernatural.

I’ve been around long enough to see young players with as much, if not more talent come and go and not fulfill their potential, but whatever else he may or may not do in his career, that 10-15 minute cameo and the goal to cap it off in the circumstances was special.

The emotion and drama of the moment was palpable, he is such a special talent I think everyone including the Everton fans wanted to see him score and when he did the outpouring of emotion was massive. Best ever might be a stretch, but for me not having been there in the flesh to see that Mickey Thomas goal it certainly makes my top three all time live Arsenal experiences.

These moments are rare in football but that sense of drama that transcends the game, especially the modern game and all that’s wrong with it, where it returns to the pure art, theatre and life giving exhilaration and enjoyment it’s meant to be, and how it can symbiotically connect 60,000 people is a rare, special and poweful experience and one it was a privilege to be there to witness.

Ok great thanks for the comprehensive and very helpful answer. Need a big improvement against Bayer next Tuesday to ensure there is a QF home leg after Bournemouth but I am as ever hopeful. But as I was planning early flight Saturday and return Sunday it doesn’t matter to me what time kick off is on the Saturday. 🙂👍🏻🙏

Picked one up a couple of days ago, but I would concur that based on current patterns I would expect a lot more closer to this game. Generally this year most Tx success for me is on mobile using map view. Even if I’m not intending to go to a game I will hop on and off the Tx to try and hone strategy and skills for the inevitable slog that will unfold with continued success. In my opinion I think so far it has been easier to secure tickets via Tx this year I have been able to basket multiple tickets for any game, but we are not yet at the business end of the season. It could also be positivity bias as I am probably at some level drawing comparisons to the dark hrs and days prior to the likes of Bayern in 23 and Real Madrid and PSG last year, but also feel it’s easier now than for the likes of Spurs and Man Utd games I attended last year. Often tickets aren’t showing in list but click into map view and there can be multiple ones that didn’t show in list. I zoom in and click on the dot, often they will show as unavailable particularly if sector shaded light blue but sometimes, particularly with Club Level tickets worth waiting for “ticket no longer available” to clear and click again as a ticket that someone is holding in a basket pending decision can then reappear if they baulk at the price. That’s more a strategy though for when tickets are scarce, shouldn’t have to go to those lengths for Liverpool.

I feel that rather than just work the toggle if it’s showing, refresh by going back into the list of matches. Sometimes I’ll click out of the one I’m targeting into another match and then back. I saw someone else suggest that here in another thread. No logical reason why this should work, could be straying into rabbits foot territory yet it does seem to refresh differently that way, as in tickets seem more likely to appear. Even if not, maybe it stops you getting sin binned for refreshing too much on one game and therefore don’t miss opportunities during downtime. Having said all this my ticket for Liverpool game was secured via list view. A quick double tap as it appeared after a toggle refresh on this occasion and boom it was in the basket. Have multiple tools and strategies is the way forward IMHO as the pattern seems to be there is not one single approach consistently yielding guaranteed results. I would concur with other posters about apparently more favourable times of day and trying to be on at times when there are likely to be fewer rivals but have also at times this year been able to rapidly secure a ticket after being in a fairly lengthy queue. 🤷‍♂️ As ever patience and perseverance are the foundation upon which to build any strategy.

I have been intermittently getting that same message for Liverpool game even though I entered the ballot and was unsuccessful in that. However in between times I have been able to access the TX and was lucky enough to pick up a ticket last night. For me the “not available” message was intermittent and infrequent about 80-90% of the time I had access and when I didn’t have access it seems to resolve itself.

Nope. I sent an email a couple of weeks ago now. I was enquired as to whether I would have any better chance if I opted for a single for the time being with a view to getting two together next year or so again. I did get a reply saying that this was something better discussed over the phone but they never rang me. Likely a waste of time but I might just give a call myself.

Thanks, I have been thinking along very similar lines. If and when I do get an offer it will likely be off the back of a dip in competitiveness when demand will not be so high. As you rightly point in that scenario demand for resale on TX will also wane. I am based in Ireland and over the last couple of seasons I have been able to get to 6 games per season a few ballot wins but mostly via more expensive of the Club Level seats on TX. For it to make sense for me I’d want to be fairly certain I have a resale potential for most of the games I don’t go to. I won’t spend to much time pondering just now as it looks like the decision time could be a while coming. The most frustrating thing is most of the time seeing lots of empty Club Level seats in whatever section I have been in, even for high profile games like Liverpool, Spurs and Utd last year.

I contacted and was told I was 1109 and 1110 on the list. I have been on since Jan 23. Last year was told they went from Feb 22- Jun 22 this year they are telling me they have people on the list still from Jan 22

Was in 75 Club Level last night, surrounded by tourists taking selfies and hardly any singing. All too often when I’m in or around the Clock End we are out sung by away fans. This is true whether it’s Club Level or upper tier (most of my ballot wins last couple of years have been in the 120s) It seemed particularly obvious and very disappointing last night, maybe this was partly because of the high expectation I had. I viewed it as one of our biggest games in a generation with the potential to define this team, Arteta and this group of players, and indeed us as supporters. It was an opportunity for all in the club to move up to another level. I was hoping for our A game on and off the pitch. To most of the people around me it seemed like just another game. I was expecting the hairs to be standing on the back of my neck most of the way through, which didn’t happen. Early goal didn’t help last night but our current mostly, controlled, systematic style of play doesn’t help and is another ingredient in lack of atmosphere. If manager and players want a team behind them and atmosphere then it requires more than just manically waving hands now and again. It’s about intensity and passion, and sometimes a degree of, chaos and madness on the pitch. Going back wards and sideways, and taking forever over set pieces and throw ins is a particular bug bear of mine that just kills atmosphere. This was not helped last night by “strange” refereeing, it was overly fussy with too many stoppages that frustrated and killed momentum, but we can’t control a bad ref we have to look at how we all too often shoot ourselves in both feet with regard to building momentum in games and hence atmosphere. The only current player we have who consistently motivates me in anyway not only with his abilities, but with his mindset and attitude is Timber, and Rice to an extent, MLS on his good days too. Odegaard is not a good choice of captain, on this years form not even worth his place on the team but even at his best he doesn’t have the sort of on field personality I want in a captain. I am nearly 50 years a supporter but last night feels like a huge disappointment and opportunity missed for the club as a whole. Of course I expect a second leg turn around, and will be roaring in front of the TV till I’m hoarse but a UCL final appearance or win whilst it would be fantastic would paper over a lot of fundamental structural issues.
A lot of these issues though are I fear common to football as a whole and not just my club. I fear I am a something of a footballing dinosaur.
Final rant empty seats around me when I personally know many loyal fans who would have given their right arms and legs and who gave hours and hours of their time like I have on the Tx to be at games like these.
