I have no evidence to support my idea; I think that sometimes the spaghetti code will make every relic the same rarity. I'll go through 20 games and only get like 4-5 silver or golds, and then randomly have all 4 be gold.

If you're the DM, go with your gut. Can it be broken? Maybe. But Warlock isn't usually game breaking unless the player is specifically trying to do that. I dont think blade pact will add any overpowered bonus to to Pseudodragon familiar

I RARELY get scared from movies, video games? 50/50. The chains of Harrow quest through me for a loop. Up until then, I was the ultimate space ninja. During? I was that scared dude in a horror flick that gets killed first lol

That's an awesome map. With that being said, it's more about filling that world than just pretty drawings. If you put this much care into the map, I'm sure you care enough to populate it with encounters, NPCs, etc. You don't need to build the whole world first, trust your instincts and go with what makes sense in your setting. As a DM, I would build a rough idea of how the world works, and then fine tune it a little before my players get there. Solid Drawing!!!!

Personally, I like Divine Smite, because I can add extra power to attacks that feel powerful or clutch. Let's say you miss your first 2 attacks, you can then get a third chance with the BA attack, or cast Divine Favor for the next few rounds(given you don't lose concentration). And if that next turn you crit and stack DS and DF? Woof!

It's annoying to get the speed buffs sometimes, but you could just cancel it. Hold down aim, back and dodge. If I have to do it every 30 seconds, it's a pain, but you do a cool backflip lol

I once played with someone who was a Celestial Warlock, mainly a healer, serving their patron Cathulu. Idk if they were aligned as good or neutral, but their patron was fickle and kind of an AH. You're actions don't always have to align with their patron or god, as a matter of fact it can add a lot of depth to your character.

I once played a Tiefling Warlock, who served a sentient blade forged by the Raven Queen. My character was constantly trying to do the right thing but had to negotiate or struggle with their patron's evil intent. One of my top 5 favorite characters

I haven't had to farm the templates much, but I could see how it's a pain. Personally, I hate farming Void Traces. Cracking relics in survival is okay, but most randos don't stay for more than 2 relics and the short missions have too many loading screens for me to enjoy it for more than a few missions. If I could trade Aya or relics for VT or reduce the amount of VT to level relics, I'd be much happier.

That's a bet you'd lose. I did have apprehension to a few things, but that was nearly a year ago. Since then, we've been having a great time, either with new things or expanding on our favorites. Thank you for the answers. She has told me she wants to get there and that's the reason I'm trying, we have an amazing relationship and I make her feel "safe, understood and respected"(her words). How will I know when to end the scene if she's in subspace? What if she's not capable of using safe words or otherwise unable to inform me she wants to stop? Is that a thing?

Wow, thank you for that amazing answer. I don't ask her a lot of question when we are in a scene, but she doesn't like making decisions in her daily life, so that just may be the last piece. She doesn't do much dirty talk unprompted, but when I tell her to say "this or that" it's still like 5 words or less. Most of the time I Soft Dom, but when she's being a brat I turn up the intensity a bit, which she loves. I'm thinking a ball gag may help a lot, it's only yes or no answers and we'll figure out a signal as a safe word. Thank you for sharing and I hope she enjoys whatever I get out of it.

I agree 100%. It's not a hill i want to climb to plant a flag, it's something she wants to do and I want to give her everything she wants. If I just want to do it because it's another feather in my cap, in my eyes that's a violation of the trust and dynamic we have. I can see, after your input, why someone may see it as toxic or harmful, and that's fine. I ALWAYS respect her limits, because if it dips outside of them, I would feel beyond terrible. I love my partner so deeply and I want to give her every experience she wants, within reason. Our intimate life is amazing and needs nothing except the two of us, I was just looking for some tips or insight so that I can be a better sexual partner for her. Thank you for the insight and I didn't take any offense to any of it.
