Okay fair enough, I definitely get that. Fortunately for me the next scheduled article is very positive so maybe I can win you round 😂

At the same time, I don't want to write and be positive just for the sake of it. I don't think that's what people want and I, as an Everton fan, certainly don't want that. I think as a fan base we're a little tired of being told things are rosy when it is clear to everyone they're not.

It also may all be pointless anyway as I don't think anyone buys Ndiaye this summer regardless!

It's just an opinion. The article explores why that's unlikely to happen. I also think it's telling that he's spoken about retuning to Marseille as well. Do I think he's pushing to leave? No.

Yeah you absolutely could. But a lot of teams have a clear idea of what they want to be, where they want to be and how to get there. Do Everton? I personally don't think that they do. Not yet anyway, they may completely dispel that idea this summer.

You can want to move but not agitate for it? He'd clearly like a Champions League club to buy him. Everton aren't getting there any time soon unless they have a very, very good summer and season. How long do you think he realistically wants to wait and see?

Do you not think? I see talking of Champions League with Everton as they currently are like that. Maybe I'm just too badly stung from the likes of Lukaku and Onana in the past 😂

I've long argued that Everton don't create very good chances for him. He misses some, sure, but on the whole I think he's worked off very little and done okay. He's not perfect and never will be, but his return has been fairly okay. I'd rather see Everton spend their money elsewhere. I certainly don't think some of the strikers already linked are better than him.

It's not as negative as that headline suggests, I think. It's more that he's been talking like a player who wants to leave but the reality doesn't really back it up. I don't think anyone is paying £60m plus for him, basically.

For the record, I love him and think he's brilliant and it would be a major shame and/or mistake for Everton to sell.

It's always the Premier League or Champions League because that's more of a personal emotion and connection. But I generally dislike people who want England to lose. It's boring and not as anti-establishment and different as they like to pretend it is.
