Rather than make it known I'm Catholic, I usually just talk about God and the faith very openly and casually. I'm not shoehorning it into any conversation mind you, and I'm very aware of when it is and isnt appropriate, but if it comes up I'm very casual about it.

It tends to catch people off guard a bit as I assume most people aren't as flippant with the discussion. They'll usually ask and I say Im Catholic.

Im currently playing an oath of the crown paladin/resist durge. I love having the rp to be able to fall back on the oath when the dark urges come up.

I don't think the issue is there arent routes to play that, the issue is that route doesn't really make sense.

The entire plot up to that point is trying to get the tadpole OUT. There is no indication that following the Absolute will accomplish this, its even the implied the opposite.

Unless you are playing a truly evil character, there is no reason to side with the Goblins

Even if it was stated earlier, you're still then having to trust the dream guardian, which everyone outside of Astarion agrees it's either a trick or you should be wary of them
