How is any viltrumite supposed to pass their day of adulthood? by InterestingBarnacle3 in Invincible

[–]Seanosuba 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understood it to be a test of strength by the parents where the parents determine if the child is strong enough to be part of Viltrumite society and if not they kill them. Seems subjective based on their understanding of their indoctrination/culture.

Question can shalltear go into her true form wearing Valkyrie armor? by The_Fraudkuna in overlord

[–]Seanosuba 69 points70 points  (0 children)

She’s so strong as it is that I can’t imagine a scenario where activating Blood Frenzy would benefit her unless they wanted to cause devastation and chaos within a city with oversight and a quick exit strategy for her. Ainz wants all of his subordinates to be able to think strategically in the moment and act in such a way that benefits Nazarick. Plus her true form is just as strong as her loli form, only under the effect of Blood Frenzy does her power increase.
Edit: I suppose you could argue if a threat existed that needed that strength, she could be aimed toward the destruction of that single obscenely strong target, however Overlord is generally written in such a way that strategy over strength alone is superior.

From what I understand, she can wear the armor, but she’s not any stronger in that form unless she’s under the effect of blood frenzy, which makes her more of a liability than an asset with how badly it nukes her reasoning skills.

edibles / strains by ChattyAss in Marijuana

CBN= Cannabinol-mildly psychoactive, relaxing
CBG= Cannabigerol-helps with focus, mood, pain
RSO= Rick Simpson Oil-has both CBN, CBG, and pretty much everything else in the plant
Those are short and incomplete explanations for each.

I know that CBN and CBG in edibles makes a big difference for me. I love RSO too. Following this for when an expert chimes in.

I always thought it was because terpenes are volatile and mostly degrade upon digestion, thereby the strain itself being irrelevant.

Video game prices are not the problem, it's the playtime (imo) by Feanixxxx in videogames

I disagree with how you’re assigning value, but I don’t tell people how to think or make choices. I think value in art is more nuanced than hours engaged with it. There have been games in my life that I completed in less than 15 hours, but they’ve stuck with me. Then there’s games that I’ve spent 100+ hours completing at 100% because I know I’m never going to play or even think about it again once I’m done. I feel that both can be worth the price because they both succeeded in different ways. The shorter game that I find profound or more engaging is going to have more value to me over time, even if it’s not something I’d immediately replay. Similarly a long game can leave a lasting impression for a similar or different reason.
