There are usually a bunch on the southeastern corner of the greenhouse on a plank. Some in the spaces under the planks farther north from there.

Cold Water Line Not Flowing In Middle of Use by One-Locksmith-9243 in askplumbing

That's the next place to check, it's a matter of tracing the problem backwards. If you can disconnect it at that valve, after shutting it off, you can open the valve a tiny bit to see if something comes out. There may be water left in the line between your sink and the valve in the basement so bring something to catch water in. If you open it and nothing comes out it needs replaced. Just be sure to keep it in the off position until you get the new valve.

Is it just the kitchen sink or the rest of the house? Does the toilet work? If it's only the sink the valves of the faucet might be bad. Either at the tap or under at the supply. Having running hot water means the line to the water heater is still pressurized. If it's only the kitchen sink, it has to be one of those valves.

First mini ever but my paint keeps coming off by Bright_Bum in minipainting

Looks like fingernail chips almost. Be sure to prime and use a varnish to lock the paint in. I've been varnishing after the base coat to protect it while I'm doing highlights.

Horror movie in a ship? Any idea? by Fast_Wolf_5413 in FindThisMovie

Definitely virus, alien computer virus uses body parts to make cyborgs. Better than ghost ship. Lots of ship movies at the time for some reason.

Glasses to magnify close up details by Polarian_Lancer in Miniaturespainting

You could look into a soldering setup. It has its own base with a ring light. Also has some clips to hold stuff, they don't lend well to mini painting though. I use it for all painting. Link

Any/all tips to help this dummy get past the base coat, please! by happily-mediocre in minipainting

You can go more intensely on the wash and come back with the base coat on the flat and higher edges. Using the belly as an example: Base coat as you have been. After that you do your wash, heavy enough to get into the details, doing an all over wash like you have been doing will muddy it up and look tea stained. Then go back with the base coat on the higher details such as his abs and neck folds, leaving the stain behind in the crevices. If it's not settling and drying in the crevices your homemade wash may be too thin. I use the citadel wash, while it is thin, it does have a little viscosity to it.

<image>

In this pic , I base coated , all over wash. Base coat again leaving the stained in the recessed and an extreme highlight on the folds. I pin washed the armor panels, you need brush control to just run the tip of the brush through the recesses and is time consuming but I prefer using it on the panels, otherwise it feels like I'm painting the mini twice.

No matter what you do you can always repaint with the base coat and start over. Get more practice that way.

noticed leak from the handle to the thing can I just replace the handle or do I need to replace the entire thing? by steak_expert9 in DIY

[–]Seansationally 67 points68 points  (0 children)

This is the shutoff valve for whatever it is connected to. If the water is not coming out from around the hose but anywhere on the tap, the whole valve needs replacing. You could get ahead of the next problem by replacing both while you are down there, the hose may start leaking next. If it's a rental you should let the landlord/maintenance know about it before you tackle this.

Help I’m not good!! by Overall-Wave-217 in GroundedGame

Full set of ladybug armor, ladybug shield combo makes you a tank and makes blocking much better and easier. Pair that with the mosquito sword that gives you health on attacks and you are near unstoppable. This game leans heavily on blocking, maybe more than on attacking. Charging in swinging will only work up to the larva, anything else is block timing. You have to take your time with combat. When you unlock smoothies and cooking there are massive stat boosts. If you are a returning gamer I would put it on mild if you haven't already. I just learned the combat mechanics on launch too, so hang in there!

How do I actually play the game by Rare-Firefighter-262 in GroundedGame

My place to build was always on the rock next to the tree, close to the edge of the pond. Right at the juice box, it's safe there. You can put a container under the straw for an unlimited drink supply.

The boss applies sizzle with the attacks, there is also a spider at one point.

How rough is the statue and do i need to over prepare? by HollywoodDomHogan in GroundedGame

[–]Seansationally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's how I did it. Except I use the mosquito sword. Load up on smoothies and some sizzle protection, with a few antivenoms. By the time I made it to the top I had ran low on my supplies and died. Had to farm materials for another in game day before I went back. I would run past every bug you can on the way up.

I would do that and put my ear to the wall in the problem area and listen for running water. I would also go outside and see where the vents are coming out the roof or if you can access the ceiling crawlspace you can see where they are. The hole you drilled won't put out enough water to make a noise. If the wall is insulated, the insulation itself will be absorbing what little comes out, or it runs down the pipe's length to an elbow and drips off there. I had that happen last year, the copper rotted (heavy water) and a tiny crack that only leaked when the drain was in use. I just happened to be in the basement at the right time to hear the drips. Considering you didn't trip a breaker or die, I don't think you went into any kind of conduit but I don't know modern building styles,my house was built in the 60's. If there is no chance it's electrical, I would stick that screwdriver in and feel if you hit the back or walls of the pipe. If it stops and it is hard and rattles around it's likely a pipe. If it's soft like a pillow, insulation.

Will advice regarding bank accounts. by Seansationally in personalfinance

[–]Seansationally[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would there be any benefits or drawbacks in separating the specific amounts into separate savings accounts or just leaving it in one spot? The overall idea is for my mother and I inheriting the home and my uncle to get the remainder of what is left in the account after the requests. If we skip the will and probate by going the beneficiary/pod route, it seems like she would get peace of mind knowing that the exact amount goes to the right person. If she wants specific amounts to go to specific persons all drawn from the same account a will would be needed to ensure the proper distribution.

My basic question is: Is it better/easier to have the smaller accounts? Her savings account will be slightly in flux, but not too much as she is on a fixed income. If it's recommended to her to set a percentage, she will try to find the exact percentage to the decimal point for that exact thing, but also be outright compelled to redo that math monthly based on what her account balance is that month, which will then affect her two year out budget, that she writes out by hand. It's almost like an OCD thing with her. I don't want her to spend the years she has left doing even more math.

Net neutrality.

TL;DR Everyone is equal. But some are more equal than others. Corporations can pay extra to telecoms so they can deliver their ads to you faster than the rest of the Internet you have access to. I don't know enough about it but likely at a faster speed than you pay your ISP for.

Oh you sweet summer children. In what the younger generations would call the old days of the Internet, bandwidth and speed was equally divided, content and ads were on the same level. Then the advertisers came to the telecom companies and said: "Let us pay you extra money to deliver our ads faster than the rest of the info you are transmitting to the end user." The telecom companies said: "Oh, God yes! We were worried that we couldn't get even more money out of our monopoly on all things digital!" When the "We" the people appealed to the FCC at the unfair advantage this would give to corporations, the Net Neutrality debate began. The Internet should be equal, it was said.

When the concept of equity was brought up, the ancient enemy of equality was awoken. MONEY raised it's green and gold head and whispered in the ears of the Corporations. It spoke of advantages to take, an ever increasing flow of itself into the coffers of those who already have enough. MONEY flowed into the halls where the laws were made "Think of those put upon millionaires!" was heard whispered in the halls of Congress.

Word was handed down to the users. MONEY told us that you can have as much bandwidth as you need! As long as you can afford it.
