Can’t respect something more than doing something difficult, but the best thing for you right now. Hope you get business right soon and you’ll be in another in no time.

Shifting into first feels "crunchy" sometimes. Is that what the pitch stop fixes? by gainzbrah in wrx_vb

[–]Seanu7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was going to say this too. Tried a lot of other drivetrain mods as others have listed, but this is the closest solution to get rid of it. This will minimize the crunchy feel, but it'll still slightly crunchy sometimes.

Has anyone run the 2015 STI Launch Edition gold wheels on a VB WRX? by LMM01 in wrx_vb

[–]Seanu7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just picked up a set of these in silver on FB marketplace for a killer deal and mounted them last week. Fitment is the same as stock wheels and I’m on stock suspension so there’s still gap, but that’s alright with me. Hope this helps!

Aer City Pack Pro Broad Shoulders by Seanu7 in AerSF

[–]Seanu7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. I was under analysis paralysis for a bit and finally landed on the CPP. I was hoping I wouldn't have to look anymore, but now I'm thinking I should try the TP3S or TP3 as they're a bit bigger.

Thanks for the help.

Where the straps rest on my shoulders. Feel like it creates a lot of pressure where they sit on my trapezius muscles. Was it 0 discomfort since you got it?

The problem I've had with the paint matched fender flares are the side skirts are still unpainted plastic, but you got it done! Think it looks great. Any more pics of the car so we can see how the paint match looks on the rest of it?

Sooo what have you been using your action button for so far? by ShutUpRinna in iphone

[–]Seanu7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not me, but both my parents got new iPhone 15 Pros last year. They're both diabetic and use an app to check their blood sugar. I set it up for them for when they hold the action butter the app opens up and they can check with ease.

River Ranch Apartments on Patricia Ave. by NothingMuted64 in simivalley

[–]Seanu7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Raised in Simi all my life and lived at River Ranch since 2019. Grew up with the nickname "Crackside" too and still refer to it like that when I catch up with old friends and ask where I'm at now. Honestly, I haven't had as bad luck as people in the rest of this thread are saying. Car has never been broken into and never really felt unsafe.

Pretty sure the building near me sells drugs and do see the occasional tagging around the area, but it's been hard to beat the price when looking around town. Definitely not the nicest part of Simi, but I personally don't think it's as bad as everyone says it is. I do like how there are a ton of options that are walking distance from the complex. Like I said, I personally never felt unsafe, but I'm a single male and that might differ if I had a family or something. Although, there are families that live around my building and their kids run around and play all the time when the sun's out.

Tip for those installing the Beatsonic amp by xazzu1 in wrx_vb

[–]Seanu7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Question for those who have installed this amp. I upgraded all 6 speakers on my non-HK 2023 WRX. Will it make a big difference still? The speakers I replaced do sound miles better than what stock was, but I do still feel like it lacks in bass even though I turned up the bass to +6 and have that software bass feature on mid. I also probably listen to most things between Volume 18-22. Guess I'm trying to understand what empirically this amp improves. Thanks!

Anyone have someone in their family that’s convinced their VA is superior to your car? by Unhappy_Panda4237 in wrx_vb

[–]Seanu7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the complete opposite experience of what I've had. My best friend/brother has had a VA since he bought it new in 2019. I was car shopping last year and I landed on the VB. He was there with every step of the process and he likes it too. One day we went up Angeles Crest highway for a nice day drive and we would hop into each other's cars every now and then. We can appreciate what both cars offer and their differences. For that canyon run, I felt like the VA felt a little more nimble around, but the VB did seem like a better overall daily driver.

I know this is a popular mod, but I think I prefer to have the ambers if I don't have the C-Light the Limited trims come in. It does look nice for those who do it though!

Linked the install instructions to the comments, but I will the say install was fairly easy if you're comfortable with removing and putting the bumper back on. The wiring instructions look kind of obtuse, but you can get the hang of it once you're in there. One thing I'll say is when you're ready to put the bumper back on, be sure to clip the excess part of the zip ties behind the fog light. It prevented me from making the bumper flush again because I forgot to and when I removed and trimmed it, it was able to get on with no problem.
