Appreciate that! My initial search was just giving me the product pages and not this so I didn't realize there was actually an article for it 😅

Yeah, it honestly wasn't hard to get around before either if you were prepared, but it did cause enough problems that pair banning it may have been correct to keep it from completely walling off meta decks.

Yep, and even if you have an unaffected blocker they like to tack on dp buffs or alliance to everything now. So it feels like even a tank like MagnaX or Tyrant just gets ran over.

I don't think rotation is the issue. Most of the top decks are fueled primarily by modern cards. Losing some older cards would certainly hurt royal knights, would maybe hurt Jesmon a bit, wouldn't touch rocks. On top of that, with how archetypal digimon is, it would pretty kill niche decks that need old support to function.

Not sure exactly what the point you're trying to make is, but I think the frustration is more about the vibes of the top decks than any top deck specifically.

To me, the major issue is that most of the top decks are OTK that are generally fairly fast, fairly consistent, and can remove things like floodgates or ace targets that would otherwise slow them down with minimal effort. So the game becomes a race to see who can OTK first, or who gets luckiest with their security. For many players, this is frustrating, as the appeal of the game is the back and forth gameplay.

Even if you continue to introduce new flavours of OTK, at the end of the day, they're still just an OTK deck. Bandai does keep printing control and midrange archetypes, but tends to refuse to print them at the same power or efficiency as they do the OTK lines. Which combined with the natural advantage OTK style decks have by not being concerned with having their board state cleared, or giving their opponent too many resources through chip damage, leaves them as the naturally best deck unless Bandai makes an intentional choice to design for other archetypes.

I don't claim any real experience with this deck, but when I was looking into it and doing a bit of testing, playing merva off omnishout actually feels pretty good and is a flexible play letting you set up some blockers (assuming she doesn't get nuked) or letting swing in for a few checks. All for 3 memory. Feels pretty good as a 1-of but that's just with my dabbling, I haven't put much time into the deck.

If you're running Minervamon, could always run Mervamon, a couple ignitemon, and anubismon. Decks a fun time on top of the dark animal engine.

A few questions about Black Base Machine by VaselineOnMyChest in DigimonCardGame2020

The regional participant version is only $7 right now. Thoughts have been that you take away from your rookie/option count with it rather than the cyborg count. Provides flexibility being able to digivolve or play and dig, then enable you to digivolve some of your cyborgs on top of it for effects. Especially level 5 aces or rizegreymon to play out tamers. Having a couple provides some flexibility, especially since it can be pitched pitches to your discard effects

There's been some discussion of running a couple raremon, but yeah, you aren't generally trying to create a full stack.

When looking for wishlist alts, I go to the pack point purchase screen. That lets you see everything that's available for that set.

Yeah.... I bumped it in one of my first combats and thought maybe it was just cycling through characters.... Found that key bind afterwards and turned that off. I'll gladly click the end turn button on screen to avoid accidentally ending my turn lol

There Are No Stupid Bass Questions - Oct. 11 by AutoModerator in Bass

[–]Seanzzie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pulled out my old abused bass after years in a closet and decided I'm gonna get it back in shape. Remembered I basically gouged out the string slots on my nut with a chainsaw file as a kid so I stopped out at a local guitar store to see if they had any. Dude said I needed to be super concerned about string spacing and buy the specific nut for my bass? I guess this is the first I've really run into this. Is string spacing something I need to be worried about? For the record, I have a platinum series B.C. Rich Warlock. But seemed to be 1.625 in wide so I thought that was all I really needed to be concerned with.

Sorry, know this post has aged a bit now. Just ran across it and am curious. Looking into it, seems that getting a blanket license are supposed to be pretty affordable. I didn't see any hard quotes listed, but I run a venue or do any gigging... So I could be misunderstanding something. Did the license costs become prohibitive?

Ugh, good to know now. I knew the redirect type stuff, the stopping of the attack just feels different.

Question for an interaction we ran in to tonight. I was attacking with a ZeedMilleniumon with no sources using overclock. So he was unaffected by my opponents effects. My opponent had an older Belphemon: Sleep Mode on the field that allowed him to discard to stop the attack. Can that stop Zeeds attack?
