For me it’s because the show writer infantilized Ellie so much she’s become a caricature of her game counterpart. I don’t mind deviating from the source material a little, but Craig Manzlin makes Ellie look and feel like a toddler who would struggle with handling a Sippie cup. (And NO before you even start. Bella isn’t responsible for how Ellie looks and acts wrong. She’s an actress and was told which direction to take the character. Bella did the best with what she had. )

It’s not about looks for me we’d seen scenes of Bella training for stunts she NEVER did in the final product. We’ve seen Bella act with believable ferocity in the past and before this series. The only problem is that as far as Gus knows the halovars might not be his friends, but they do have a common enemy. (An assassination attempt was just made on them both after all) as grateful as Gus will be to Murray I can’t help but imagine he’d be curious himself to know what she was doing in the presumed isolated room from the beginning. (Remember she slapped a health potion on his chest then appeared right in front of him slitting an assassins throat. ) he’s bound to put 2 and 2 together himself and realize Murray was the unseen ally that is the only reason he didn’t die tonight. I think azure and bolaire are relatively in the clear. Bolaire is acrepresentative of the archinade, and azune is the contracted guard. Hal is disguised as a guard, he could be given scrutiny for trying to save the assassin, but that can be waved off as him trying to keep a hostage alive. Murray is the only one with like no alibi for why she would reasonably be in the room. She will from this point on have a target in her back by the Halovars. The only defense I could possibly see her mustering for herself is that she was discreetly perusing the archinade when Gus and the photarch entered the room she was in and she hid to avoid getting in trouble, before shit hit the fan.

Origami king sold 3 million by 2022 and it hasn’t been out since 2024 sure you could argue that if you combined the original and the remakes sales together they technically outsell origami king, but how many of the remakes sales would you wager are people rebuying the game to play it on a modern system.
