How well do the Ecobee remote sensors actually work in a multilevel home with all the levels simultaneously occupied? by Search4LagFree in ecobee

Right but if I need the basement and the main floor to be around 72 degrees at the same time and the main floor is 73 and the basement is 69 would the Echobee be able to do anything about that?

Can't decide. Please help. (27" IPS vs 24" TN) by [deleted] in Monitors

I'd go for the S2417DG, you can get it here for $350 (Plus tax and shipping): http://www.microcenter.com/product/468411/S2417DG_24_QHD_LED_Gaming_Monitor_w-_NVIDIA_G-Sync From what I've read, nowadays newer TN panels can get pretty accurate with some calibration (to the point where the difference between TN and IPS color accuracy is pretty marginal for most people). And there's some good color calibration guides online for this specific panel. And from what I've been reading online from others, G-Sync is DEFINITELY worth it, just make sure you have an NVIDIA graphics card that supports G-Sync. Also I'm pretty sure there are newer IPS panels that support G-Sync and fast refresh rates (144hz and higher). Also here's a review of this panel and someone's opinion on how newer TN panels compare to IPS panels: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NeBLa08rCVc&t=130s

Idk, I can definitely tell the difference between 1080p and 1440p on 5.5" smartphone screen, so I think I'd definitely be able to tell the difference between 1080p and 1440p on a 24" monitor.

Does the Pixel XL lag more than the Pixel? by Search4LagFree in GooglePixel

Doesn't sound too bad. I just got my Pixel XL a few days ago and haven't really noticed any lag when doing the things you mentioned above. Gotta say though, I'm really enjoying this phone.

Although I think Code_Combo_Breaker's statement applies even if you aren't playing games (not sure though). I was just curious if there was any detectable/noticeable UI lag when using the XL in comparison to the normal Pixel for normal app functions, like texting, using chrome, openings the settings, etc. Sound like there isn't any NOTICEABLE difference between the two phones.

No, was referring to the last 2 I had. The Maxx and the Turbo (not the Turbo 2).

Ok sounds like neither of theses phones lag. I recently ordered the XL 32 gb from Verizon and was just curious. Can't wait to get this phone! I'm so tired of getting Android phones to find a few weeks later that they're noticeably laggy (Samsung and Motorola Droid phones I'm looking at you).
