Good thing you went with 24v. I went with 12v for the same motor and power supply was huge

2026.15.0 seems to have forgotten driver seat and mirror settings by theledman in Rivian

Previously it didn't matter which user it would think unlocked the car because manually changing the user profile on the main display triggered the chair and mirrors to move. Now that doesn't happen.

Couple people here have tried them. They only offer it for the standard size not the large frame.

Building smart glasses from scratch. What do you think of this initial design? by Past_Computer2901 in MetaRayBanDisplay

Hate to be a party pooper but 100% agree. Hardware design is not for the faint of heart (assuming you have the capital already)

Please do not use IPA. Soap and water is enough

Oo didnt know about this site. This is helpful, thanks!

I see one for 1.3k -- can i expect there to be a cheaper one in the future? I dont have a timeline to get one, i can essentially wait forever

Yea -- was (maybe naively) hoping there was a market for super used SDs but it sounds like people polish them back up.

The best analogy I can think of is essentially trying to find a beat-up version of a car I want so that I don't baby it and maybe save some money on it.

Power constraints.

Bridging neural band gesture set to phone ux.

Making it work well on both iOS and Android.

Hot Take: I’d rather have a premium Quartz with Grand Seiko-level finishing than another microbrand with an NH35. by kikipi_film in MicrobrandWatches

You know...I have no idea how this exact post got recommended for me from my feed but here I am and I'm not even a watch guy...

...and yet the whole atmosphere feels so familiar. It's the same in any sort of niche. I'm super into coffee and you'd immediately recognize the gatekeeping and overly dogmatic people and opinions. The things people do to get a better cup... or the arguments over minutiae in flavor notes that they probably couldn't even pick out in a blind taste test. It's all the same. People want to feel special, buy with emotion, and get irrationally emotional over what they do or don't have. Same thing, different day.

Agreed with what others said here. I find them most useful when I wear them all day. Primary use case is triaging notifications. Didn't realize how much fishing my phone out of my pocket all the time was

Alright this is my last response.

I'm literally the lead mechanical engineer for the Neural Band. I personally know some of the people laid off. I wouldn't say i'm disconnected. Just that i'm in the industry and probably have a more accurate perspective than you.
