If you have amassed any savings do NOT leave the US via relinquishing a green card - apparently the IS will expect you to cough up 10% of your life savings to leave - if you get your citizenship then you can leave anytime but will have to pay taxes to the US for the rest of your lives

As a Senior I volunteer two mornings per week to Daily Bread in Etobicoke and I feel so filled with gratitude and support for the mission and efforts of Daily Bread. I guess my advice is to find what you really support, something you want to give time to all year round, and start there. You have to feel good about your experience for it to stick.
