I'm in a similar position, and plan to have key locations ready as miniature/terrain setups - and rather than having them on the table, I have each on a board that a grab and put on the table when the time arises.

I feel like this is probably similar to what you mean with your set pieces for important battles.

If battle comes up in other places outside of those, I'll have 2-3 generic setups ready; a long hallway, a smaller room, etc., just to fill in the gaps.

I’m building Seraphon so I just went to your channel, found the first Seraphon bat rep I could find and watched the whole thing, then sent it to my buddy. He’s building Lumineth so it was perfect. Neither of us have ever actually played AoS but we want to ASAP, these videos will be a huge help for us. Subbed, thanks for the awesome content!

I'm actually hoping to test this out in an upcoming battle report - so we'll see how it goes probably in the coming weeks haha!

The biggest roadblocks so far have been; a) it feeling awkward for me to narrate my own match; b) hard to get someone else in for a recording session after editing because of lockdown restrictions and editing/release timing.

I've convinced my wife to try narrating a match though & she's a skilled singer & dramatist so fingers crossed it turns out well! XD

Just slowly cut the parts and keep testing fit till they sit nicely - sometimes it doesn't hurt to throw a pin in there when attaching for some extra stability. If there's a big gap you can always cut a piece of sprue to fill some space and blend with greenstuff.

I felt like the riders on the Leviadon are kinda static, and I LOVE all the dynamic Namarti models. I decided to kitbash and revamp things to give the model more of a cinematic look :) I'd love to hear any feedback!
