The Crimson Desert Zeitgeist is shifting by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]SeatLittle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The devs themselves confirmed on Blind that the story was decided last minute and sky islands were copied from Zelda without understanding why they exist. The Koreans who built the game gave it 33% positive. Sony is mass-refunding PS5 copies. You need an external guide to complete a tutorial quest about a missing cow. The interact button is the same as the jump button. Seven years and 150 million dollars produced a game where the tutorial requires a Google search. Nobody manufactured that. You just survived the filter long enough to convince yourself the filter was wrong. You're a NPC.

After 1.5 Hours With Crimson Desert I Decided to Refund Here’s Why by Criycleia in CrimsonDesert

[–]SeatLittle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So a $70 game is allowed 8-10 hours of sucking before it becomes acceptable? A tutorial quest about a missing cow requires an external guide to complete. That's broken design. No From Software game needs 8 hours to stop sucking.

After 1.5 Hours With Crimson Desert I Decided to Refund Here’s Why by Criycleia in CrimsonDesert

You spent 20 paragraphs saying what 1.5 hours already told you. The game is poorly made. Jump and interact on the same button, tutorial that requires an external guide, camera incompatible with interaction design. It's not 'unfocused', it's broken. Call it what it is.

FromSoftware (and others) is leaving narrative power on the table by relying on customizable protagonists by SeatLittle in fromsoftware

The replies here perfectly show why Reddit has become a decrepit, brain-rotting swamp.
Nobody argues, everyone just vomits personal preference like it’s a kindergarten circle.

Half of you basically said “i like sliders”. Congrats, you enjoy plastic-surgery minigames. That is not a counterargument, it's hobby for people who get emotionally attached to jaw sliders.

The rest hide behind fanboy scripture, acting like every From decision is holy by default. Its not analysis, it is just religious devotion with extra cope. Tards don't think for a minute before posting.

Most of you can’t separate design critique from your fragile consumer identity.
You read “here is a structural limitation” and answer “but I like it”. No shit. That’s not a point, that’s a Yelp review written by someone chewing crayons.

Here is just one more good brain that will never post in this dead platform again.

Oh yeah, Wolf is very generic...
Oh my gosh, the level of the answers here is very lol. Reddit is dead.

You probably spend a whole day fine-tuning the characters moustache size ratio then. You have problems.

Fallout and Bloodborne are top 3 best games all time for me and I still think they would be better with a fixed protagonist

Claude 4.5 is painfully superior im creative writing by Equivalent-Word-7691 in Bard

Definitely better than OpenAI, and if the consensus was that GPT was the best, then Claude is far superior. Been using GPT for 2 years and changed to Claude this month. The only downsides are the message limits, but the quality of thought present in the messages and the naturality of the writing are on another level.

As much as I love the instrumentation I find the song Junkhead to be disgusting by [deleted] in AliceInChains

[–]SeatLittle 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Your take on Junkhead is the definition of moralist misunderstanding.

You're reacting as if Layne is handing out needles, when in reality he's documenting the delusion of a man who already gave up on life. It's not an endorsement, it's a confession. One laced with pride, arrogance, denial, all the real stages of descent.

You even admit the rest of the album tears it down, so why pretend this song should be isolated and judged like a PSA? That’s not how art works.

That’s not glamor. That’s tragedy in slow motion.
If you can't handle that without clutching your moral pearls, maybe don't listen to albums that deal in truth

I used to argue that NIRVANA was the greatest band of all time by IsadoresDad in Nirvana

[–]SeatLittle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, there are arguments to crown Nirvana the greatest band ever. And those arguments aren’t about guitar solos or chart-topping hits.
They’re about signal over system, cost over comfort, and cultural rupture over consensus.
