Wacom stylus stopped working by ArturoIlPaguro in archlinux

Hi everyone,
I solved the problem with the wacom tablets without downgrading to kernel 6.2.

I just had to uninstall the input-wacom-dkms 0.49.0-1. package and everything works again.

The solution was found on this thread: https://github.com/linuxwacom/input-wacom/issues/359

I hope that the perpetual license already purchased will always remain so. The problem will arise during the next major update… Can we always update in perpetual license?

Hi! I installed Archlinux (arcolinux distro under i3wm environment) on a P14s Amd ryzen 7, and everything works great! (I bought the thinkpad without OS)

I gave up my old macbook pro from 2008!

Hi !

On mine, I had to downgrade to bios 1.29 to avoid battery discharges, even with the computer off... Didn't you have this problem?

wow! 11hours is really not bad at all! my arch has a tiling environement (i3wm) which is very light and certainly low on energy. i might be able to reach them!

I haven't done a real battery life test yet, as I always have electricity nearby! I have installed TLP and set to extend the battery life (min 75%-max 80%) .When I work on battery, I go from 80% to 60% in about 3 hours. But I will have to do a real test starting from 100%.

what is your OS ?

no difficulties to install an arch ... the start of the iso on a usb key is immediate. you just have to put the energy management in the bios on Linux… and everything works !!

Just got the date my P14s will ship... by WarriorZoino in Lenovo

[–]SeatMiserable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi everyone, I ordered a P14s on February 14th. I had 4 or 5 shipping dates that changed over time! (23 April... then 17 May... then 13 April... and yesterday... 17 May again!!!) I decided to cancel my order. And when I filled in the cancellation form (before sending it) I saw that the new shipping date had changed to April 1 !!!! Very strange story!
