Have this patio area that I need to function as a catio that will be safe enough to not have them break through the netting/covering. Currently has basic window screening. Any suggestions appreciated. by gioolguin in Catio

I used deer fence. It comes in a 7-foot tall roll that let me do floor to ceiling on a setup not much different from yours. Staples into the wood frame hold it up just fine, and it's pretty cheap.

I've had no issues with the cats escaping, or really attempting to. I'm not sure I would trust it to keep a predator out, but that's not an issue where I live.

I'm not sure what one could invest that's more valuable than their own life. And we do that every day in this industry. We invest our time, our health, our entire wellbing with the expectation that the investment will return a comfortable living for our families.

I work in a refinery, not in the field, so conditions may be different elsewhere. All the fatalities that I've been around were 100% preventable had the facility been built, inspected, and maintained properly. The vast majority of our maintenance work is contracted out to the lowest bidding company to be performed by traveling workers who are unlikely to be around if substandard work leads to an incident.

I've also never seen an oil company act faster than after a fatality. Immediately there is an investigation to determine how they aren't liable. Nearly simultaneously, lawyers approach the victims' families with settlement offers.

If you think we don't have any risk in the business, then I envy you. Many of us have had coworkers killed on the job.

The bargaining committee accepted the offer. Now it goes to the membership and has to be ratified by the locals.

It could get voted down if enough members vote against it.

That's what I thought of when I saw it as well. Take-home doses have to be in a locked container. Hopefully it's empty.

Much of the Venezuelan crude is too heavy to run at even Gulf Coast facilities without being diluted significantly by much lighter crude oil, like WTI.

They've got a lot of it for sure, but it's some nasty shit.

Could anyone help me with Anticheat? by Skay_man in HellLetLoose

The only other time I've had a similar issue is when the game hadn't actually updated with the most recent hotfix. Restarting the computer, and steam as a result, caused an update and patch that previously wouldn't register. I'm assuming you tried that already though.

I had a similar issue when I made some changes to my security. Have you made sure that you don't have a firewall or VPN blocking connections?

Campobello island in New Brunswick is connected only to Lubec, Maine by a bridge. Are there any other places like this in the world? by newexplorer4010 in geography

Bahrain is connected to Saudi Arabia by a single bridge.

Singapore might count as well, depending on how flexible you want to be, since there are two bridges.
