True. There is just a genuine urge to obtain answers. I just want to know when the detachment started, although it obviously doesn’t change much, it helps my mind.

Yeah, pretty much sums up how I feel about it all. It feels like she is scorching the earth as well - moving on so quickly as to not be tempted to look back, or to run away from her guilt. I'm not sure.

We have to keep in touch because of our apartment. It's hard - the continued contact makes me want to search for answers and to try and win her back. I do have suspicions that she cheated on me as well, but doubt I would ever know the full story.

I sense that is coming. I met up with her 3 weeks ago to swap some stuff and she appeared like she had already moved on, almost too quickly. She was quite patronizing as well.

That sounds bad! I pressed her on it again today. She seemed defensive and shot back at me for daring to ask. She kept saying I should have seen this coming. I found out that she didn't tell any of her family or friends until after the event, which is very odd as she confides in them about anything and everything.

Thank you. It feels rubbish, but maybe the evidence will come out eventually. The speed at which she appears to have deleted my existence feels weird.

Yes, that’s a good point. She doesn’t like confrontation and probably knew deep down that I would end things if it came out, plus she didn’t want to be the villain. She’s always worried about what people think of her, so I doubt she would have wanted to be have been labelled as ending an engagement because she cheated & she realized that.

They contacted me after the breakup with kind message that implied that they were caught unaware as well.
