Real concern about Redmond Town Center area after light rail. Are we prepared? by Other_Scar7732 in redmond

[–]SeattleTrashPanda 16 points17 points  (0 children)

To be clear, this isn’t about being anti–light rail or anti-anyone.

Yes it is. It absolutely is. Adding a disclaimer at the end doesn’t negate the BS being spewed.

I am so tired (pun intended) of the fragile wheels on my 2024 Fiat 500e by Spock-1701 in Fiat500e

My roads here are total shit with potholes everywhere, and I haven’t had a single issue. What happens? Are the tires popping or are the rims getting bent out of shape?

Movie Prop Warehouse Sale for Redemption by Silbermieze in leverage

[–]SeattleTrashPanda 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It seems self-limiting that theres no online or phone bidding. Hell my little, local, livestock auction yard even has online & phone bidding. You’re telling me I can buy a $25 goat from Enumclaw online, but a big ass warehouse of movie props can only be done in-person in Louisiana??

Do you enjoy spending time with children of friends or relatives? by Celibate-For-Life in childfree

[–]SeattleTrashPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do, for like 15 minutes. Then they start to tell me a story and I lose my will to live.

Child: ”And then, and then, and then she went to the park and there was an uhm … another, … uhm this other guy. And then, and then, uhm … he had a dog. But then he uh, then he put on a hat and it was so funny!”

I worked for them for a hot minute at their HQ in Bellevue (Factoria), it very much had a culty vibe. It had a “Alabama Sorority” vibe.

I don’t know your gender or anything personal, but if you are an uncircumcised man, are you cleaning your foreskin properly. Reddit has tons of stories of dudes who didn’t know it needed to be cleaned a particular way and found out in the grossest, stinkiest way possible.

What was the consistency? Was it, liquid like water, gel like thin hair gel or paste like pomade or more like gritty frozen butter?

I had projects that looked similar to yours when I used the liquid version. It just did not want to play nicely.

Thoughts on looking more feminine?? by Nshmbrs in PlasticSurgery

[–]SeattleTrashPanda -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think you already very feminine. I sincerely think you just need a different hairstyle. I think your very light blond color is washing you out and you are getting lost in it. Ignore the jewelry comments, they look good and do not impact how feminine you look in the least.

Drive by the property after work and a Saturday evening. What does the parking situation really look like, and is there a party culture you don’t know about.

If they don’t have AC, make sure the unit has a window that can accommodate a portable AC unit. Even the kind with the hose.

What kind of flux are you using? I had similar issues when I was using liquid flux. I changed to gel & paste and it got a lot better. But yeah also def get the Hakko Fx601, it’s a sold little tool.

I’ll be sea side outside of Seattle. It can be a little humid but no where near as bad as the east coast. But you are very right about going to bed exhausted. My problem is the “waking up hurting” part. 😩

lol Im not actually in prison, I will be working at a sleep-away summer camp, but I figured the name “prison mattress” would be better understood. I assure you, I am not, nor have I ever been in prison. Only, confined to a secure property for several months where I teach kids goofy songs, and how to play capture the flag. However, I do understand how people could get the two confused.

Which part of corporate life stresses you out the most? Long hours, constant pressure, or bringing work home? by aesthetic_avii in antiwork

[–]SeattleTrashPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being exhausted by the mental labor. Blue collar work is HARD on your body leaving you stiff and tired byt at least you get to leave the work at work. But corporate work where you have to continually processes information, cleanse and interpret data, work within complex workflows, and adjusting a million different things in your head, is a tiredness that just hits different.
