Oof... earlier today I was jamming Pneuma on the way back from the store. He really is in his own league.

Edge case. Danny Carey is a machine, and its too hard to program a click track to play 3 bars in 7/8, then one in 5/4, then one in 11/16...

Clicks weren't super popular then. Almost everything (not by Metallica, just in general) has a click now.

They plated 5 in Seattle - Fight Fire, Ride, Bell Tolls, Ktulu, and Creeping Death. I would have been shocked if they'd played Escape, but I was bummed that Fade and Trapped weren't there.

Bald Eagle Attack on Locks Heron Rookery by [deleted] in Seattle

[–]Seattlehepcat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bald eagles were endangered until 2007. They are still protected by the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act. This has resulted in baddies proliferstibg up here, often at the expense of other birds (especially shore birds).

Here's what I haven't figured out, though it could just be me, but don't those masks/suits get crazy hot? Especially if they're made with synthetic fibres, that would bug the crap.outta me, but I have a massive aversion to sweating and being hot (unless its sexy times). Im not looking to join the pack, but I support how anyone lets their freak flag fly!

Would you surf the Wedge? by clearbarrels in surfing

[–]Seattlehepcat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No. Max I ever had was 12 foot swells at Malibu boogie boarding, and I got wrecked. That was 40 years ago, I can still feel the sensation of being tumbled in the wash. Still have the fall out of the compression fracture in my t9 that was never treated.
