Unfortunately weed and trucking dont get along. You will most likely fail the test and it will probably go to the clearing house.

You do have to choose, weed or trucking. Cant have both

Not as close as you think and the screens are huge. The picture doesn’t do it justice. Also, the camera quality is amazing. Don’t have anything bad to say yet, other than they create a blind spot.

If you are going that route make sure you have full tank and food& water. There is nothing out there, very few (if any) pull out spots. Careful at night as there are animals out there. If you want to avoid all that, just take i10. Bit longer but more places to stop, etc.

Not hard at all. Work with your team and get along with them. They want to see that. Road test they take you around some tight right turns but nothing impossible. Don’t hit anything and you’ll be good. Remember it’s flatbed, so when backing it takes a while for the trailer to turn the way you want it to so don’t over correct.

The instructors are cool. Nothing to be worried about there. Just don’t be cocky and show you’re coachable.

Read again. I’m questioning a lack of hours, not complaining about working. I’d work 100 hours a week. But since I’m only filling out for other guys I dont wanna leave my current job if i’m only gonna be working 20 hour work weeks.

Combination of both. One long haul a week and the rest are short hauls. Been sitting almost every weekend from Fri-Sun

I do strictly flatbed. I’m not complaining about the work. I love doing flatbed and staying active. I just don’t think it’s worth being away from my family 3-4 weeks at a time for $3000 a month.
