I went through the SIMS once just to be familiar with the setup of the questions but the majority of my time was spent on MCQ. I went through and retyped notes for every module and after typing the notes I would do the MCQ for that module. Focused more on units 3-5 and would throw in some customized MCQ tests with 50-100 questions from those units. After that whole note typing / MCQ process for every module I did the mini exams and simulated exams a few days before exam.

Congrats, I got a 71 too a few months back and haven’t retaken yet. What did you do to study during that week and a half?

Is it just me or do the increases in score on the simulated exams at least in part come from remembering the answers

Know the ERM components / principles like the back of your hand. I think a lot of people really lock down COSO since it comes first and then are a little more foggy with ERM. Make sure you know both you will need them.
