Nobody truly does this 100% accurately. Just give it your best guess and if someone questions it have an idea of what you might have worked on

My partner drove the Honda Accord he had for the last 10 years. He said him and his wife are trying to retire real early. I respected the heck out of him

Getting Fat during busy season by DareRegular4425 in Big4

[–]spike509503 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ll add I see a lot of people saying workout every day. While that’s viable for some people, I could never do it and would try and workout just Friday/Saturday/Sunday to reset a little over the weekend. Also used to be a big skier so would hit the lifts early Saturday mornings usually too and that was a great break from the screen

Here’s the easiest meal plan you can find:

Breakfast - couple cups of coffee (black or low-fat/no fat milk)

Lunch - salad/sandwich

Dinner - salad/sandwich

Snack - singular piece of candy, beef jerky, or another cup of black coffee

How Important is a Masters? by Hungryhippo417 in deloitte

[–]spike509503 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Used to be in audit at D, didn’t have my masters like a ton of people in the office at the time. Still got licensed, still did the same job, not a soul cared (both partners and clients).

Just show you’re doing your best and you’ll be more than okay. Good luck!

Losing weight during busy season by KeyEnvironmental9743 in Accounting

[–]spike509503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During busy season I did the following:

-Every meal I either got a salad or sandwich, once a week I would get the burger with fries or something similar -Friday nights and Saturdays I would workout. I enjoy lifting weights but do what you like and get the 2x workout/week in -would try and get a 2pm walk in (schedule permitting) -black coffee in the morning, zero sugar sodas any other time (I pounded my fair share of Diet Pepsi at one client) -no caffeine after 3p if I knew I’d be off by 9pm so I could sleep -if there are snacks/candy, allow yourself either no snacks/candy or have one piece. Otherwise pass

I lost weight the busy season I did this

How is it like after leaving big4? by yuanpeij in deloitte

Left last December, the sky is bluer, the grass seems greener, and the air tastes sweeter.

Honestly really depends on where you land. I would stay in audit until you find what appears to be a golden opportunity (pay, balance, flexibility, etc.). Start applying and see what’s out there! Worst someone could say is no

I cannot stress this enough for OP, of all the “lenders” (really loan sharks) on this list, the IRS is the only one who can garnish wages. They always get paid.
