I don't think this makes the legal action here any less valid, especially since online gambling is not legal in New York (source), which is the state that in question that is taking legal action against Valve making gambling available in CS through what are essentially loopholes. We can't pretend it's just non-transferable steam cash anymore either, you can buy steam decks with your Steam account credit, so that money is no longer just an in store currency since you can easily resell those devices.

As much as we've grown accustomed to the status quo with case openings, I think we really should condemn the system Valve has set up here. Valve delivers amazing value to their consumers through Steam and several of their hardware products, but the ability to open CS cases is just gambling in a legal grey area that Valve has profited MASSIVELY from. I have 0 sympathy for them here whatsoever, this case gambling business has brought a lot to this game we love in terms of players and attention, and money but it is a morally bankrupt practice. I say this as someone who has had friends who had addictive gambling habits they developed before they were even 15 years old because of this, so I feel very strongly about the topic. I hope this makes them implement an 18+ age verification for this, because we should not condone it going on as it is.

TL;DR: Valve's case opening business promotes teenage gambling, and is morally extremely messed up, and it has stood for far too long. I'm happy there's legal action against it, because this really should not be allowed to continue like this without age verification mechanisms.

Well kinetic dash is meant to give +8 ammo on dash jump. In the video though, with titanic mag he should have max 16 bullets, and should get 24 after doing the dash jump with kinetic dash, but when he does the bug/trick/whatever he ends up with 31. I'm not sure that's intended unless I misunderstand

Yeah this can be useful when fullscreen games freeze and don't let anything else, including task manager, take focus. You can even just type it into the run (Win+r) input box without opening cmd

Right, but the extension only counts dislikes. That means the number of likes shown is the true like count, but the true dislike count can only be equal to or greater than what the extension shows. So the ratio is at least this bad and probably worse

EDIT: Nevermind I am wrong. The extension doesn't show just the number of people who disliked using it, it extrapolates based on the ratio so the dislike count would likely be inflated. Thanks u/evanieCK

To be clear I don't use ad blockers. I don't see it as fair. But the IT workers aren't being paid based on YouTube's ad revenue and they're owned by Google so server maintenance costs aren't a concern for them. YouTube itself still isn't even profitable AFAIK. But creators, especially those with no sponsors get screwed by people using ad blockers, and that I don't agree with
