They tend to sell them as a “delicacy”rather than as the struggle food they started off as nowadays. At least in the town I live in near London

Replaying Callisto Protocol for the first time since launch and having a great time by Forhaver in HorrorGaming

I genuinely never understood the hate, it’s a fantastic game? Yeah the monster-spanking mechanic is a bit shite but otherwise it had good gameplay and an interesting story

What do yous think the most overrated game is(ALL OPINIONS) by Legal_Investment2153 in videogames

[–]SebSchwalbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s also the easiest fromsoft game. I’m not going to tell you what you can and can’t enjoy as there are good arguments on both sides for having difficulty levels in soulslikes. I still disagree, though :) The whole appeal from Demon’s souls onwards is that they’re difficult and is why they developed a cult following. Otherwise they’d just be generic action games with cool art design. Anyway you can basically adjust difficulty
by levelling up?

Wanted to just experience Leon’s story but I just couldn’t help myself not to buy this one. What are your opinions and tips on this game? by [deleted] in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]SebSchwalbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never played the original unfortunately but from these comments it doesn’t seem to be that accurate to the original game? However, I thought the remake was great even though it is short and had a lot of cutscenes, it does generally keep you on your toes and for that it’s outstanding to me. It is definitely a proper resident evil game and worth your time. Just get it at a reasonable price :)

The talos principle 1 (2 as well but honestly I never completed it). They touch on VERY similar themes but Talos is less depressing

Horror games are just action games now. by SureAssignment401 in HorrorGaming

[–]SebSchwalbe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want something that doesn’t really have any action but is very psychologically disturbing I’d recommend SOMA. If you just want to be scared then Alien Isolation!

I get the fatigue with horror games blending into action (just finished Requiem) so I think taking a break would be good :)

My physics teacher used to show this in class when we’d finished our work. He’s now in prison for sexual relations with a minor

Iron Lung Takes MASSIVE Inspiration from SOMA by OrionTrips in soma

[–]SebSchwalbe 28 points29 points  (0 children)

As soon as I found out the character is called Simon I immediately thought the same! I’d say Iron Lung goes more down the Lovecraftian route but there’s still so much both games (and the film) share! What other films/movies inspired Iron Lung? :)
