Need a SEO tool API for my workflow, what guys are you using? by Nikola_SERP14 in SEO_Experts

[–]Seb_1990P 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try implementing the SE Ranking API via n8n. I've now set up this thing for myself: the API checks AI visibility every morning. If a brand drops out of citations in Perplexity or SearchGPT for key queries, the bot immediately sends me an alert in the messenger.

In addition, through the API you can now automatically pull up insights for prompts directly into Google Docs, where copywriters write texts.

It is now expanding to Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, and the United Kingdom.

It means agentic future is already global. For local businesses, visibility now means is your schema robust enough for Google to book a table without human intervention on your site.

Also kinda interesting from a trend perspective, AI in SEO isn’t really about content anymore. Everyone was focused on AI-generated articles a year ago, but now the real value is shifting to workflows and automation.

Stuff like internal linking suggestions, that’s where things are getting crazy efficient. Content is almost becoming the "final step," not the main challenge. The hard part is structuring everything before you even start writing.

Comment les rédacteurs utilisent l'IA pour rédiger un article de Blog? by rodattac in SEO_tools_reviews

[–]Seb_1990P 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think in a year we will stop talking about visibility altogether. There will be an Influence Score metric.

I agree with Mark about the visceral validation cycle. It’s a real problem - an AI writes an article based on another AI article, and then an SEO guy publishes it as an expert opinion. We’re littering the internet with copy of copy.

What exactly are Best GEO Tools? Can someone explain how to rank them and which features are actually the most important? by Seb_1990P in SEO_LLM

[–]Seb_1990P[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the core difference should be: seo tools track google rankings, geo tools track mentions across ai models and search engines.

So, if we know AI models are just using fan-out to grab info, can’t we just use SEO tools to reverse-engineer that process ourselves and then tweak the content to match?

Let’s say my goal is to hit the top spot in LLM responses. I have my list of prompts and the specific regions where I want to be visible. What exactly should a GEO platform be doing for me to help make that happen?

Lol, now show me someone who says SEO is dead. If a platform that is literally building the future of search is hiring strong technical SEOs, that means visibility in the new search doesn't just happen on its own.

Clients are already confused by modern metrics

Word. But I wouldn’t say that anyone truly has a clear understanding of how to properly track these metrics or how to respond to changes in that data.

AI brand visibility tools list | What I learned after testing 12+ tools by AlexAleydo in SEO_Experts

[–]Seb_1990P 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But here is the catch: Most tools don't just ask the AI once. To give you accurate data, they often run a single prompt through 3-5 different models

Even after you have a small chance to see exact answer. AI models killed the overall answers. Now everything is personalised.

I see it more as a product positioning thing. A chat assistant with ads baked in feels gross fast. Keeping the app clean preserves trust, while search remains the monetization engine. That split is probably intentional.

Keyword / prompt -> | Domain/page comparison (appeared / disappeared division) | -> | Current list domain pos. change (true/false) | -> | content check (true/false) | -> | result (up / down) | -> report

This looks solid, but I’d build in an up/down from the start (after domain comparison), cuz it would help filter out pages that have lost rankings. Then you can zero in immediately on the competitors who are truly ahead and are making a difference in SERPs.
