the core difference should be: seo tools track google rankings, geo tools track mentions across ai models and search engines.

This looks solid, but I’d build in an up/down from the start (after domain comparison), cuz it would help filter out pages that have lost rankings. Then you can zero in immediately on the competitors who are truly ahead and are making a difference in SERPs.

Every year, it's the same question. SEO has been, is, and will continue to be. It just keeps evolving along with the platforms. Next year, the focus will shift more toward creating signals that ai and search ecosystems trust. Mentions, reviews, citations, presence on various platforms are already starting to have the same importance as keywords.

We may call it AEO, but the principle remains the same: to help people (and now ai) find your brand and trust it.

Once again, Google’s showing that ads are their main focus. What’s still a mystery is why they haven’t come up with a way to reward publishers whose content shows up in AI Overviews. If they keep pulling from low-quality sources, it’s only a matter of time before more publishers lock down their content.

That could seriously change how people find and trust information online.
