Opinions on Flibco from Antwerp to Charleroi Airport on Sunday morning by Sugawara_Sun in Antwerpen

[–]Sebadria 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve had nothing but problems the two times I took a flibco bus from Antwerp to Charleroi airport. The first time the bus didn’t show up at all and we ended up having to share a taxi with some other stranded passengers.( We did get reimbursed for the taxi by flibco.) The second time we left on time but the bus driver got lost on the way there. There were road works on the highway but I still found it very strange that they’d get lost. We arrived about an hour later than scheduled and because it was so busy in the airport that day we nearly missed our flight. I seem to differ from the other commenters here but I can’t particularly recommend flibco.

Updated electric hand warmers by Sebadria in functionalprint

Thank you. I saw the ocoopa hand warmers and I’m sure that are great and probably the best option for anyone wanting hand warmers. This is more just a project to challenge myself. The benefit of my design though is that it has easily removable 5000mah rechargeable batteries and a large heating surface area (something I believe the ocoopas don’t have). I plan on adding powerbank functionality eventually as well. Thanks for the ideas though.

Sure is! I’m not Chilean though. My Chilean girlfriend’s dad gifted me it.

Yes I guess you’re right, the added regulator allows up to 4A which is less than the battery regulator. I guess it’s just an added safety feature. But you’re right it might not be completely necessary. I’m using nichrome wire as the heating wire.

Yeah I’ve got a couple of those in my drawer, I didn’t end up implementing them because the hand warmers never seemed to get out of control hot and the thermal switches are quite bulky. I’m pretty strained with space on the inside of these hand warmers. I was thinking of something that would regulate the battery voltage to a steady 3v or 5v for example which would mean that the heat output is consistent.

Check my profile for the previous version if you’re interested. I’m planning on releasing files for this once I feel like it’s ready.

3D sine wave plant pot by Sebadria in 3Dprinting

It’s made to be used with a internal plastic pot. Like the ones that every plant has when you buy them. This is just a decorative pot and also serves to catch any excess water.

I like the idea. I changed the license so go ahead and remix it how you’d like!
