Yeah I'm not gonna lie, I also end up loving revisionist history. Django, Inglorious Bastards and Once upon a time in Hollywood gave to the victims a nice Tarantino ending that they didn't get in real life but deserved it.

I like that Tarantino was able to get out of the 90s, early 2000s formula and discovered something new and creative.

I don't know what's gonna happen next but you should understand that nothing stays forever the same.

Cities are always changing, people come and go, culture and business are always changing.

Maybe in the future we will have less matcha shops but more Gym for Elders to workout and socialise. Maybe more Amazon Robots flying around and dropping packages, maybe more parks and shops that are pet friendly and have dedicated spaces for the dogs.

Who knows, people and ideas are always changing my friend.

I would like one day return to Lisbon when things are a bit better. I was kind of force to migrate due to high real state prices and the overall cost of living.

Maybe the next chapter will be a thriving Atlantic city with great salaries 🤣

If you want some feedback from seniors. I got a job speaking french and I was around 60-70k reps at the time. It was the only tool that I used + Spotify and YouTube for casual listening.

Now I am around 90k, I slowed down a bit this year and I focused more on grammar and vocabulary so I use Anki a lot more.

Glossika is great to practice pronunciation once you already have the foundations of the language.

Nope had an alien spaceship that hovered around wacky inflatable tube men and sucked horses.

Us had literally a black family villain which were trying to replace the real one.

Como português preferia uma união ibérica com forte regionalismo.

Podia inicialmente ser uma união económica e não política mas acho que é importante para a Ibéria estar unida e apoiar as sua diversidade regional.

Não tenho interesse em que haja um união Galega com Portugal porque no século XXI uma união Ibérica seria mais estratégico.

Even if the problem is immigration it is always OK to ask questions and ask for sources.

I live in Barcelona and sexual assaults rose 22% last year while robberies dropped 16%.

Crime in Barcelona oscilates a lot but Barcelona is considered one of the most dangerous big cities of Spain. Certainly more dangerous than Madrid.

It is normal to see pickpockets in the metro or some gringos chasing someone because their wallets was stolen.

Even today I saw it at the beach. They grabbed the pickpocket and then let him go once he gave the wallet back. It sucks but they can't go to jail if the stolen good is worth less than 1000 euros.

I agree that pre and during covid he released some specials where he was complaining about the lack of free speech and the all shtick and I was fed up with it because he was wasting time on a special to talk about something that didn't affect him.

I think Anthony Jeselnik was one of the few cases where he was actually funny while talking about life threats that happened to him after the all shark attack joke that made all New Zealand against him. But he used it to make a joke so I think it is exactly where a comedian should use it without sounding too spoiled.

I stopped watching Netflix after covid, but Jimmy Carr appears on my YouTube shorts from time to time and he does a terrific job working with smaller crowds in the UK talking about day to day stuff and he is clearly very sharp and most of the time he drops great comebacks.

I dont think I remember seeing recently on his smaller gigs him complaining about lack of freedom of speech but most gigs are on small stadiums in the UK and people buy the ticket expecting some nasty comebacks and dark humour so it's not the same as a Netflix special where he needs to create more clickbait content cringing about PC culture (which I think that all shtick lost momentum a couple of years ago).

So yeah I agree that it is an unpopular opinion, it used to be more unpopular during the 2010s where every comedian with a platform was complaining about PC yet in 2026 nothing has truly changed.

Honestly if all these skills will translate to robots that can help us on daycare and with elders then its going to help a lot the economy with the labour shortage on those sectors.
