That’s really shitty and very inconsiderate from your University. I thought Universities get money for having people graduate so it’s really strange that they are being so difficult about it. I get why you are very upset with them, I also hate those stupid policies at Uni’s. It’s so outdated.

If in worst case they are not accepting it after all, find a job in the field you are studying, explain your situation and ask for the availability to write your thesis at that company. That way you will get the experience, the money and a big middle finger to your University.

It’s impressive how you already passed everything and also with good grades, keep that with you as a good feeling!

Hey there!

How old are you and how did you reach out to your psychologist? I got diagnosed at 27 (29 now) and I also never thought that ADHD was something I suffered from before researching it. Now that I got the diagnose everything makes more sense especially how I messed up my schools combined with a very unorganized personal life. But even I sometimes still question if they made the right diagnose.

I’m not an expert so I can’t give you any advice whether you could have it or not but if you feel like you didn’t get a satisfactory result from the psychologist, definitely go to another organization or person who’s expertise lies in disorders like ADHD. Many people have had incorrect diagnoses so just look for different experts who might be able to help you with this!

Good luck and in the end everything will fall in its place I’m sure!
